This villa has it all!

We had planned a meet-up vacation for our family in Italy; this villa was located close to the Brindisi airport (convenient for making multiple trips to pick up family members), and within a 45-90 minute drive of all the small towns we visited. The villa is fabulous - very clean and well designed for groups up to 8. The air conditioners work great; pool is wonderful after a day of sightseeing. Be sure to request a chef to cook you an authentic regional Italian meal one evening - it was delicious and informative.

Great house for a multi generation family holiday

We were met at the property by Richard and Noirin who arrived very promptly, in spite of a slight miscommunication initially. They were very welcoming and showed us how everything worked and where everything was located. The house was fabulous. I appreciated the fact that there was physical separation between the room and bathroom for me and my husband and our daughter and her family were upstairs with their own two bedrooms and bathroom. The welcome package was great and meant that we didn't really need to get to a supermarket till the next day, which we appreciated after the long drive from Rome airport. The house was well located, close to the beach and not far to a cafe and a pasticceria which had beautiful bread, pastries etc and was open every day from early till late. The only drawback to the place was that the village of Lendinuso was largely closed because the "season" was over, in spite of the fact that the weather was still very warm and we swam every day. However the peace and quiet was great. The small people probably would have enjoyed the company of other children on the beach though had there been more people around. The house was an easy drive to Lecce, Alborebello, Oranto and Gallipoli and we went to some lovely beaches along the coast. The market at Castelabate was fantastic, very local and so cheap. The house itself was very clean and well maintained and Richard very responsive to all queries. He even delivered additional pegs for the almost daily wash that having small children necessitates! We were there for 12 days and could easily have stayed longer.

Beautiful villa in Puglia

This was our second stay at this beautiful villa, and again we had a wonderful holiday. Richard and Noirin are very attentive hosts and facilitated an early arrival at the villa for us. They left an amazing welcome basket full of lots of local goodies and accommodated dietary requirements too. The villa is perfect for our family with three active boys. It is very well presented and maintained. There was an issue with the outdoor toilet which Richard ensured was repaired the day we reported it. The villa is very close to the beach and the village has a lovely delicatessen, butchers and small supermarket. There are some nice pubs and pizza restaurants within walking distance. This year we visited Ostuna, Zindalusa Grotte and the Water park. These were all great trips and we especially enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool at the Grotte. We liked it so much we are returning next year!

Excellent Villa

The villa is clean, comfortable and spacious. The swimming pool is well maintained and perfect for cooling off in the lovely Puglian sunshine. The owners are very welcoming and extremely helpful. The beach is less than a five minute walk away and you can also walk to a few fab restaurants. We hired a car and travelled around the stunning Puglian coast. We visited beautiful places such as Lecce, Brindisi and Monopoli. There is a great water park to visit which the children loved. This is our second visit to the villa and we will definitely return. We would highly recommend this villa and the hosts.

Excellent for family holiday

Six adults and one child stayed for first week of September 2016. Very good size with a huge lounge/diner, open plan kitchen and large bedrooms. Balconies to both upstairs bedrooms and a roof top terrace. Plenty of room for us not to be all on top of one another. Very well equipped, comfortable beds and clean. The welcome pack was great with everything necessary to start us off. Outside there is an excellent pool, large enough for a proper swim. A yard at the back for washing and hanging clothes, a WC and shower and a built in BBQ (charcoal can be purchased at the large Conad supermarket in Torchiarolo, a 15 min drive away). The whole property is very secure in a residential area. The beach and pizzerias are only a short walk away and the local village has a very good bakery and two butchers/delicatessens. There is a fruit and veg stall outside the bakery some days. All in all Villa Suzannah is an excellent base for a beach holiday and visiting places in the Puglia region. Thanks Richard and Noirin.

Perfect for family get away

This was the second villa we stayed in during our trip to Italy and it was perfect for what we wanted. The pool is wonderful with shady areas to keep the children cool. The outside space is excellent for families with children as space to play away from the pool and a large covered area to escape from the sun. The villa itself is well maintained and layout worked well for us as 2 families. When the heat became too much in the villa the air con was excellent at rapidly cooling either upstairs or downstairs. The local area was refreshingly non commercial! During siesta time there is nowhere to eat as locals close down but once you get into the habit this is perfectly workable. The local restaurants close to th villa had great food and atmosphere and the 2 minute walk to the bakery every morning was perfect for croissants! We didn't use the beach by the villa on beach days but looked great! We drove 5 mins to the next village where the man made enclaves worked for us with littlies as water nice and shallow. Richard and Noirin were great with helping us get the most from our stay both before and during. Excellent hosts - couldn't have asked for better, always on hand when needed.

Spacious, well appointed and friendly owners

Lovely welcome from Richard and Noirin. Villa is excellent - clean, large rooms and has everything one could need including aircon. Lovely pool and plenty of sun loungers. We had a great time here. We enjoyed picking the lemons and herbs for BBQs, the property is very private and well located for exploring Puglia.

An absolutely stunning villa

We have just had a fantastic time at this villa. We have stayed at quite a few over the years and a few in Puglia but this has outshone them all. Everything about the pictures and description are totally accurate. It is so spacious and clean and has just everything you need. The outdoor verandah is great for being outside yet out of the sun. The upstairs balcony was a real bonus, to be able to sit out there in the sun or shade was great. There were 7 of us including a child and there was plenty of space for us all to do our own thing if we wanted to. The pool was brilliant - there aren't that many villas with pools by the sea in this area (except all of Richard and Noirins of course) and for us it was a real must have. The village is a typical Italian holiday village and as mentioned, there are plenty of places to eat from beachside snack bars to proper full on Italian restaurants with immense numbers of courses! Il Botteghino was our favourite...anti pasti just kept coming...and through Richard and Noirin they arranged a birthday cake for one of our party. A lovely Italian family and superb food. A great bakery, butchers, fishmonger and supermarket...you really do not need to drive anywhere once you get there, it is all there within a few hundred yards. The food and drink were extremely good value too. Benny's Bar was a good place to rent sun loungers and parasols and the beach was well looked after. As far as the hosts, Richard and Noirin could not do more! They put a huge amount of effort into making sure your holiday is spot on. We emailed them many times beforehand with questions and they always responded by return. When we were there we contacted them a few times, once needing a pharmacy (which was brilliant) and again, they got back to us straight away and never made us feel like we were being a nuisance although we're sure we were! The really do go the extra mile for their guests and deserve continued success. The extra touches, toilet rolls, washing up liquid, dishwasher capsules, oilive oil, a great welcome basket, all saved so much time and really added to the comfort. We enjoyed it so much we have already booked one of their other villas for next year - a smaller one as there will be fewer in our party but also with a stunning pool and just a stones throw from this one. We can't wait!

One of the best villas I have stayed in and I have

The villa is based in Lindinuso in Puglia, Italy. The villa is very comfortable with all the amenities required for a group of friends or families with children and the pool is very safe for children. The bedrooms are large and airy with both upstairs bedrooms having large balconies. The kitchen is perfectly adequate to cook full meals and the downstairs has a large lounge/dining area. The verandah is superb with plenty of shade and space to dine outside. All in all the perfect villa. The owners Richard and Noirin are close by and can be texted or rung and they are there very quickly should there be an emergency. They are both very friendly and keen to help as much as they can. My only problem, which is nothing to do with the villa, is that we chose to go mid-end of September and restaurants and shops within walking distance were closing down for the season in Lindinuso. There were, however, plenty of shops, supermarkets and restaurants within a short driving distance. One of the best villas I have stayed in and I have no hesitation in highly recommending it.

Just a perfect getaway

This home was exactly as described and thoroughly enjoyable. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay a most comfortable and pleasant experience. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to get away from the busy cities. It was pre-season so we didn't get to enjoy all of the local restaurants, but did enjoy the comfort of the kitchen and the barbeque/pizza oven.

A Touch of Paradise.

We had a fantastic holiday in this beautiful villa. We found everything to be as advertised and, if possible, was even better in reality than the advertising suggests. The big selling point of this property is the amount of space everywhere. The bedrooms are all large and airy and two of them even have their own large verandas. Inside and outside, space is very generous and for a large group holidaying together, there are numerous different areas for dining, relaxing, cooking or simply soaking up the rays, at the well kept swimming pool. The property is spotlessly clean and well presented. The owners have thought of everything needed for an enjoyable holiday. From the generous welcome basket to the well equipped kitchen, to the books and DVDs supplied, no stone was left unturned to ensure we had a great holiday experience. The village where the property is situated is a true gem. It is truly peaceful and laid back. So relaxing. In fact, we found the whole area to be a fantastic holiday destination. There is so much to see and do here. Historic cities, beautiful beaches, sleepy villages,.... We will certainly return to this beautiful area and more especially this beautiful paradise.

We are an Anglo-Irish couple who fell in love with Puglia and bought our first "Place in Puglia Villas" property ( Villa Sun Beach) as our holiday home when our family was young.
Our love of the area grew and when our children flew the nest, we decided to relocate here to Puglia in 2006 which is the year that we bought and re-built Villa Nicola.
We then sold our house and business back home, and relocated here and bought additional properties over the next few years.
Each one has been transformed into beautiful holiday rentals for our guests, with many families returning to us year after year and becoming friends in the process.
We purchased Villa Azzurra in autumn of 2011 which we fully rebuilt and had it ready for guests in the 2012 holiday season.

Villa Suzannah is our latest Place in Puglia Villa and was purchased and fully upgraded for our guests in time for its first guests in May 2014.

Each year from April when our guests start arriving, until the end of October when we close up for the winter, we dedicate ourselves to making sure that your hard earned and well deserved holiday goes as perfectly as possible and as we live just 10 minutes away from any of our properties, we are always on call if required during your stay.
For our guests we can organise extra services such as In-Villa dining, In-Villa Italian cookery lessons, inshore sea fishing and coastal excursions, winery and wine-tasting tours, bicycle hire as well as restaurant recommendations and advise on excursions and attractions, full details of these and all other infomation are in each of the properties In-Villa guidebook or can be found on our website at www.placeinpuglia.com.
