Our family fell in love with Haines in 2013 and continues to renovate and upgrade our place on spectacular Mud Bay Road. We strive to match our Alaska dream with yours. Visiting Alaska is on everybody's bucket list. When we came to Haines in 2013, it was magnetic. Haines is known as the Adventure Capital of Alaska and it is easy to see why - every day. Early on, we stood together at the top of the drive, looked out at the Chilkat, Pyramid Island and the glaciers and all we could say was, "Wow!"

Before purchasing the two buildings and lots that now make up the property, we rented one of the three apartments that make up the Pyramid Island Rental property, next door to the house that became our Glacier View Lodge. It was easy to fall in love with the place - one of the most beautiful locations in Haines - and we continue to live on the property. Whether you are just here on a visit or you choose the adventure as your lifestyle, when your day's activity is done, you can continue to be inspired by your awesome surroundings. Glacier View Lodge offers that inspiration. Sitting on the expansive decks, you can't help but be drawn into the view. And it's not only what you see that makes this a special place. The location is close to but out of town, across the road from the beach and near the state park. The house and expansive decks have been basically completely rebuilt and we have chosen luxury linens and amenities to compliment your stay. We make it easy to cook at home, yet we're close to town so you can enjoy the several great restaurants of Haines. And, have we mentioned the view?
