Sabine was the perfect host, she made us very welcome. The Gite was a late booking having been travelling and site seeing in France and Germany for over two weeks, we felt we needed to just chill for a couple of days , we could not have chosen a better place . Beautiful Gite, lovely big garden to call our own and a quite peaceful village setting. We could wander around taking in the history and a lovely pub the White Lion was very friendly. Everything we needed was catered for and a good comfortable bed at night. We would highly recommend, idea for popping off site seeing and history a really good base. I'm sure we will be back at sometime.

Beautiful, cosy and soooooo..... French!

Sabine is such a warm and welcoming host. She was a mine of information regarding the local area The apartment had everything we needed for a short stay, with free parking on site. The decor is gorgeous and the garden so atmospheric. The village is lovely and quiet but with a SUPERB supermarket just 2 minutes from the apartment. Very conveniently located to explore the local area. Highly recommend.

Last minute trip to Flanders

We booked our trip the day before as a last minute break. Sabine is a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The gite is very close to the Belgian border and we visited several historic sites as well as a brewery tour. Would highly recommend as a base for anyone wishing to explore Passchendale, Ypres and other WW1 places of interest. Thank you Sabine, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful jite in a quiet village , Sabine was lovely giving us tips and money off vouchers for local tourism spots. The only thing I missed was having a TV to watch in the nights ...and you have to share the garden. Peaceful and tranquill .....

Best Gite in Northern France

We were looking to find a nice little village to stay in with easy access to northern France and Belgium. What we found was a great Gite with a wonderful host who was very attentive to our needs and made us feel quite at home. The Gite had plenty of room for us, everything we needed (we found not having a TV was in fact a bonus), and a lovely garden to relax in. Sabine gave us helpful advice on what to visit, how best to get there and assisted us across the language barriers (she speaks English much better than we speak French!). We loved our stay and could not have asked for a better combination of location, comfort and host.
