We love this cabin! It’s the second time we’ve rented it. Since the first time, the fireplace and shower have been updated. The fireplace was electric, now is gas with remote start. The shower was small and dark, but now is bigger, bright and has seating if needed. Everything was perfect! A sunset view while sitting in the hot tub is hard to beat! Extremely nice area, very peaceful. Perfect for a romantic getaway!

This was our first time coming to Mentone! Mrs. Tracy was very responsive and an awesome host. The cabin was so cute. The cleanliness was a 10/10. We had everything we needed while we there as well. The view was beautiful especially at sunset. No doubt we will be back!

Great stay!

The whole trip was amazing. The caving is comfy and clean. You couldn’t ask for a better view! The privacy and serenity the property provided exceeded my expectations. Also great location only minutes away from little River Canyon where there is a beautiful water fall and a great swimming hole for the family to enjoy also. Only a few miles from Desoto falls another great waterfall close to the cabin. I can’t find one bad thing to say about this trip or cabin. The cabin was adequately supplied with essentials with everything from coffee to grilling utensils. Also had a nice gas grill outside on the patio perfect for sunset grilling. We really enjoyed the cabin and trip we look forward to booking again!

Amazing Weekend

This was a perfect place to stay for our first wedding anniversary. The cabin was clean and just as listed. I really enjoyed the hot tub and the privacy. The only thing I would say is the shower is entirely too small. You can’t move at all in it, and water gets all over the bathroom. I would also add maybe a sliding or pocket door instead of just having a curtain for the bathroom door.

Beautiful cabin

The cabin was gorgeous, and don’t even get me started on the view!! Loved the deck with the hot tub and grill. Inside was very cozy. Great stay.

Lovely cabin with a gorgeous view! My fiancé proposed during our stay right outside the cabin. The shower was very small and there is no door to close off the bedroom from the bathroom, but aside from that the cabin was perfect! Very comfy bed and the cabin smells like a log cabin should. Everything was super clean and the decor was adorable. Pay attention to the lightning bugs in the evenings and take in the fresh, mountain air. We loved our romantic getaway!

Nice weekend escape

Very well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked with seasonings, and everything was well-kept. We never had a chance to use the hot tub because there were thunderstorms the first night, and we had to cut our stay short. Tracy was very understanding and accommodating about us having to shorten our stay. I would come back.

Cute little cottage with a good view

We really enjoyed this cute little cottage. The place was very clean, well-kept, and had a great view. It's small, but it was perfect for a getaway weekend for us. We were close to DeSoto Falls and several other natural wildlife areas, so we could get out and enjoy hiking. It was just a good place to unplug for a couple of days. One thing I would note: There is no stove in this cabin. There is a grill, a microwave, and a small fridge along with a hot plate, though, so it's enough to get by for a couple of days, but if you're planning a longer stay, plan accordingly. There are plenty of great places to get food in the surrounding area, too, if cooking isn't your thing.

Great cabin for a relaxing getaway

We enjoyed our stay. Cabin was very clean. All the bear and other decorations were wonderful The view was nice and we had a pretty sunset.Loved the high ceiling and wood beamsFire pit was nice. The interior of the cabin is lovely. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Aaahhh!!!

Better than a 5 Star hotel!Checked in a stressed mess in need of all this wonderful cabin has to offer. It's a great location with easy access, clean and comfortable with little details that meant so much. I left a new woman!Enjoyed the outdoor living space, the amazing view and especially the hot tub. There was a big storm with heavy rain and very high winds overnight, but I enjoy storms. We ventured into Fort Payne for shopping, Alabama Fan Museum, Scooters Coffee, and the Bar-B-Que Place. People were great and the food was too good.We hope to return in the Fall when the leaves change. This one's a keeper, worth revisiting!
