When I took my sister's advice and drove up and over the hill from Santa Barbara to see the Santa Ynez Valley for the first time an orchestra went off in my heart. I thought to myself, "I want to live and die here", and that's what I set off to do. I put my 8-year-old son in the truck and the horses in the trailer and moved out without a place to go.
It has been a beautiful journey of success and fruition of dreams come true beyond what I even know I could dream.
I love to share the beauty of the Santa Ynez Valley, population 24,000. It is like America in the 50's with happy people and generous hearts. There is no crime, no traffic and ultimate serenity surrounded by 1.8 million acres of wildland, the Los Padres National Forest. You can see the Milky way at night.
