Everything was what I wanted it to be. Plenty of things for my grandchildren and my children to keep themselves busy, cozy and warm nice to have the piano. The hot tub was ideal. The host was attentive. The lodge was beautiful. The lake was beautiful and the establishment was helpful. Whatever issue may have come up

The house was perfect for our party of 13 - it was big enough for us to be together and yet had lots of space for us to have privacy when we needed it. We appreciated the labels on everything from remotes and light switches to drawers in the kitchen. Ricky was also a great host, very responsive, flexible - and very warm and kind. We had a wonderful stay!

Poconos 2025

We are a family of 15 ranging in age from 1 yeqr old to 73. The home is spacious and clean. The host, Ricky is gracious and a great communicator. We all had a blast. There's so much to do, within a 30 to 45 minute driving time. The older children ages 19 to 27 loved going to the escape room, the rope courses and the arcades at Kalahari.

Winter Birthday Weekend

Great property. Great area. All of our group are 30 and enjoyed just a simple get away from work and monotony. Owner was in constant communication with any questions we had. Property was sizeable and fit our group of 11's needs perfectly. Would 1,000% not only return, but also hfhly recommend to others.

Thanksgiving in the Woods

Our host Ricky was awesome from beginning to end. He responded to any and every question promptly throughout the months leading up to and during our stay. The house was perfect for keeping the kids and adults entertained w/ the pool table, air hockey, foosball table, hot tub and more. The three levels allowed for both alone time and togetherness as needed.

Great House

We were a party of nine (five adults, four kids aged 7 to 11) and the house worked great for us with six places to sleep. The house was big enough so that we could spread out and the eating area was large enough so that we could all eat and play card games together. The weather didn't cooperate so much (only hit 70 one day despite being August) so we didn't really spend much time at the lake, but the amenities seemed very nice. We did avail ourselves of the playgrounds, heated pools, and pickleball courts.

A wonderful week in the Poconos

We enjoyed our stay at Mt Maplewood and Arrowhead Lake. The house is warm, inviting and comfortable. It’s in a great location near a variety of activities and attractions. Ricky was a pleasure to work with. I hope to stay here again.

Vacation at Mt. Maplewood Chalet

The home is beautiful. It is spacious and clean. The "grandkids", ages 12 to 26, had a blast at nearby Kalahari. They did some golfing, swimming, lazer tag, and an escape room. I can't say enough great things about the owner, he was easy to communicate with and was informative. We would highly recommend tjis place!!

One of the best place in Pocono Mountain

The best place we’ve ever stayed for our vacation. Very clean place with a lot of entertainment activities. The house is super clean and has a lot of beds if you do go with big group family and friends. The community has heated pool and small lake beach for children to play. We will definitely visit again.

Everything We Wanted

Had a perfect stay with friends last weekend. The house is very conveniently located to anything you need: groceries, firewood, bars/restaurants. Great to have the hot tub under the deck as it rained all day Saturday, and it got plenty hot despite the outside temps. Also really great having trash dropoff near the exit, as we've stayed in other communities that required a long drive in the opposite direction after checkout. Great communication throughout the booking and check-in process as well.

Great stay

Our family stayed at Mt. Maplewood Chalet for Christmas break and had a great time. The home was just as pictured and Ricky was great with keeping us informed and staying in communication with us for anything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked and the hot tub was great! There were 9 of us total including 2 teenagers and 3 children and everyone was very comfortable. Thank you for your hospitality, Ricky!

Thanksgiving 2023

My family had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving. There was plenty of room for the 15 of us and we all enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit! We did have a little glitch on Thanksgiving but Ricky got back to me within seconds and we got it taken care of. The kitchen was well stocked and large enough for lots of us to be preparing dinner together.

Very relaxing vacation

This was a wonderful change up. The chalet is tastefully decorated. The whole family enjoyed the air hockey, pool table, and Foosball table. The kitchen was well organized, we didn't really use it for much other than coffee. Overall, a glorious vacation.

Wonderful Week`

Our group of 8 had a wonderful stay at Mt. Maplewood Chalet. Ricky was a great host who communicated very well with lots of great suggestions. We especially liked the online guidebook. The house was perfect for our group. I was very impressed with how well-stocked the kitchen was as we cooked all of our meals for the week. It had everything we needed. All of the house amenities, from the hot tub to the pool table, worked well for us. We had a great week!

Hello, my name is Ricky, I’m a designer from New Jersey and manage Mt. Maplewood Lodge for our family. I am an area alliance affiliate through Poconos Vacation Rental Owners for Rent Responsibly and train owners as an Owner Training Ambassador.

I grew up in upstate NY, lived in NYC for 15 years then moved to Maplewood with my family. We also have family in the Poconos and love enjoying what every season has to offer, but in the summer we also love to be on the lake. We are 5 extended families that use our homes yearly and share them when we not vacationing. There is so much to do every season from skiing, golfing and waterparks, to sailing, concerts and biking or tennis. We will give you access to our Mt. Maplewood Lodge site that has year round activities listed and updated seasonally.
