It is our absolute favorite place on the Oregon Coast and we will keep coming until we can't climb the stairs! Ocean Odyssey is a joy to work with. The home is always clean and ready for us as promised. For us, it is the perfect escape from the heat and wildfire smoke and dangers of the high desert. We love Driftwood Loft!

We loved watching the sunset from the deck. Everything was clean and orderly, with a well stocked kitchen. Also lots of comfortable living room seating, with plenty of big windows so you can watch the waves while you sip your morning coffee. I will definitely book again, best place I’ve stayed on the coast hands down!

We instantly opened the windows and enjoyed the sound of the waves. The kitchen was well appointed, the bed was comfortable and allowed us to get the rest and relaxation we needed, the shower was nice and hot after a cool day, and the coast was at our fingertips! We would stay here again in a heart beat!

Beautiful beach

We stayed here and enjoyed the smartly appointed furniture and decorations. This was the perfect size for a couple. The beach access was great. Just be careful on the trail to the ocean, it’s slippery when wet. Fun shell hunting to the north.

Entering this beach house was just like walking into a lovely private home, with tasteful art and furnishings, a well equipped kitchen, and a personal library worth an extended stay in it's own right. Everything was immaculate. The only design flaw was a less than perfect window over the ocean, with a television and a wall residing in the corner that would have provided the best sitting view of the beach and surf.

Amazing views and location!

My daughter and I took a quick adventure to the Oregon Coast. The home sits on a private lane and offers amazing views and direct access to the beach. The trail to the beach is a bit rough, but convenient. Home was super clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice cozy place with a tricky short walk to the beach. This home is down a quiet dead end road. It has lots of windows and a great view.. The home was clean and well stocked. The bed wasn’t bad, we slept well. We would stay here again, but not in the summer as the home gets very warm and there was no AC. We did find a fan in the garage and once the sun went down we were able to open all the doors and windows and start to cool things down. Our navigation system took us to the road right before or after (depending on your direction) the correct road to turn down. If you see more than one home before you get to the rental, you are on the incorrect road. Home is perfectly located and close to lots of fun activities. Thanks for a great visit!

40th anniversary getaway

Been coming to the Coast almost every year for previous family Vacations which included Anniversary celebrations and this VRBO rental was the best place we've been to! Only my spouse and I this time but we'll be back with our 2 sons next time, they love coming to the coast as well. Thanks for a wonderful memory!

Peaceful Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at the Driftwood Loft. It sits at the end of a quiet road off busy 101 but is secluded and peaceful. We never heard the sound of traffic, only the sound of the waves and the calls of the seabirds. The living quarters of the rental is on the second story, accessible by both outside and inside stairways. A lovely beach is accessible by going down a slightly steep incline right in front of the house. There is a rope hold but the path can be slippery. We were thrilled with the peace and the view, the furnishings and all the amenities of the rental. For those with mobility concerns, the stairs to the second story living quarters and the climb down to the beach may be a challenge. Otherwise, we highly recommend this rental for a peaceful get away.
