Cute little Condo, close to the ocean

Great property, easy check in. Loved it. All the amenities we wanted, except wifi - but I guess that’s not a necessity.

Adorable Condo and great location

The condo was newly updated in the kitchen and living room. Perfectly located a 5 minute walk to restaurants and the beach. The bed was very small and a bit broken down but otherwise a great place to stay. Communication with the host was quick and courteous.

Nice

My only comment would be to suggest that there could be a lamp beside the bed that is easy to turn off when you are in bed . The lamp has the switch at the top which requires you to get out of bed to turn it off . More hangers also on the clothes rack please

This property is in a good location in Birch Bay. It is very clean. The washing machine is nice for doing laundry. The negatives - NO WI-FI! Bad mattress. And the decor is old and dated.

It is old. Drapes are stained and worn out. Listed as 1 bedroom when it wasn't. When listing as 1 bedroom it has to have a closet, by federal law. "Bedroom" had no closet, just rack to hang cloths. The 2 chest of drawers in room were full of blankets and pillows. No place to unpack. Had to use suitcase for night stand on one side. Had to get out of bed to turn off light. Picture on line showed unit on ground floor. That is why i booked it. I am disabled and stairs are very hard. We get here and there are stairs to get up to the entry, and stairs in the unit. Listing made it very very clear no refunds for any reason. So we had to stay. Husband had to help me up and down stairs. I feel ad was very deceptive. Also person upstairs was smoking on deck and dropping ashes on to the patio table on our patio. We spent 1/2 hour cleaning table and chairs to use them only to wake up the next day with ashes on the table again.

Thank you for your feedback. I am so sorry you were so disappointed in the accommodations. I wish you would have notified my and I could have either relocated you or done something to make it more enjoyable. The description does say lower level not ground floor and there are two stairs along with one step inside the unit which is in the pictures. I am so sorry again and wish you would have let us know as we would have done everything possible to make it a better stay.

We love Jacobs Landing and have stayed there for over 30 years however this unit needs some attention. Smoke alarm removed in main area, no kitchen towels or sponge for kitchen. The furniture was all very broken down and old and needs replacing even the bed. Refrigerator is very loud, dishwasher not secured and the patio looked like it had not seen a broom or any type of cleaning all summer not to mention the grounds not being watered and drying up.

Our Stay at Jacob's Landing - Birch Bay

We were very pleased with the property, the cleanliness, and everything is supplied for you household wise! Just bring your personal needs, groceries, drinks and enjoy! The neighborhood is very nice, clean and the residents are very friendly! We would definitely rent again. The brown lounger had a arm broken and leaning outwards, I called in and reported it, also the kitchen faucet started leaking around the top, I called it in and since it wasn't a bad leak we opted out for repairs until we left. The only complaints are a need for blackout curtain in the bedroom and a little more privacy for the courtyard. It's small and has nothing to block the neighbors from viewing you as they are walking past! Thank you for our stay! Sandra and Jerry

Birch Bay Stay

Renting process easy. Check in process quick. Condo was cozy, and much if it clean and tidy, there were a few issues: bathroom door not working right, one of the blankets was dirty (food). Overall warm and dry.
