The Acre

Beautiful place to stay for a weekend with the family. The pool area is very nice and come with all the amenities. The house has huge kitchen which allows for several people to be prepping a big saturday dinner. Family decided that this is where they would like to stay in the future when in town visiting extended family. Property makes you feel like you are out in the country while in the heart of Abilene.

Best Day Ever!

The Acre was a dream venue for our wedding! We will always cherish the memories of our special day here! We enjoyed have the venue for the weekend and not feeling rushed. Highly recommend!!

A great place to gather!

Once again our weekend at The Acre did not let us down. This has been such a special place for us to gather with family and friends over the past several years. It really has become a home away from home for us in Abilene!

Second stay was great

This is the second time we have rented this house. It is one of my favorite places to stay in the area! The house is beautiful and clean. The owners are kind and responsive. Looking forward to next year.

Excellent

This was the perfect place for my family to stay while visiting my brother. There was a minor pool issue that happened but within a few minutes of reaching out the pool people were contacted and they were there super quickly. I highly recommend for anyone who is staying in Abilene!!

Beautiful oasis in Abilene—perfect for our wedding!

The lovely hosts have thought of everything for a wedding, including extra time in a comfy home for 2 days. They were quick to respond for any questions or needs. It was a delight and our guests raved on about how beautiful it was. Would highly recommend!

Home away from home!

We have stayed at this property no less than 10 times over the last 5 years! The Acre provides the best hospitality. It is a great place to gather family and friends while staying in Abilene. We enjoy the porches and grounds as much as the inside! Can't find a better spot for you Abilene stay.

Perfect place for our wedding

This location was absolutely perfect for our wedding venue. It was clean, beautiful and large enough for everyone to hangout together all weekend! HIGHLY recommend for all weekend getaways and weddings!

Gorgeous Wedding

We had the most amazing fall wedding for our daughter here. We could not have asked for a more beautiful setting. We enjoyed every single moment that we stayed at this property. It was a real life fairy tale wedding.

DIY Perfect Wedding

This was perfect spot for my wedding. My family and my sister’s family were able to stay the entire weekend which left plenty of time for a DIY wedding and reception! There’s not much decorating needed with the amazing decor inside and outside of this home!

Wedding venue

We used the property as our wedding venue and it was perfect! Lots of greenery, shady areas, and provided tables/seating for about 100 people. My bridesmaids and I stayed in the house for the weekend and it was very clean.

Wonderful home and location

My family from out of state came down for my daughters graduation. My whole family enjoyed the house especially outside. The outside area is big and nice to accommodate a group. The house is in town and close to everything, but appears that you are in the country. I would highly recommend this house to anyone. Dawn R

Family gathering following a funeral

This property is amazing. Our family all loved it...and there was something for all ages. The hosts of this home are extraordinary, and were very helpful about caterers and making it easy for our family to spend time here. Paradise!

We reserved this property for our wedding and it was INCREDIBLE!! the outside of the home is HUGE! We were able to host a ceremony on one side and and a reception on another. All of our guests complemented the property. Was the perfect place for our perfect day.
