The Old Stump Ranch in the beautiful Aeneas Valley is the perfect place! The cabin features 3 roomy bedrooms, a full size kitchen, and a bathroom. There is a beautiful, custom wood stove to take away the winter chill and a washer and dryer should you have too much fun playing outside! Perfect winter or summer getaway!

The kitchen had everything you would ever need, including cooking basic essentials (spices, oil, and some dry goods). Beds are very comfortable. There is an antique wood stove for heating (you always sleep the best in a warm and cozy, and comfy bed crisp and cool night!). When we arrived, the Host already had a fire going, and left a wonderful (still warm) baked good - delicious!

The cabin was great. It had everything, and more, than you would expect. The host was an excellent communicator and even dropped off a teriffic Rhubarb coffee cake - a delicious offering.

Amazing place. Peaceful and quiet, well-stocked kitchen, super cute decor. The views are beautiful, the house stays cool despite 90 degree temperatures. Close to lots of outdoor recreation. We've stayed at over 50 different house shares and this one is truly special. We had 2 adults and 5 children (3-12) and everyone loved the place and we never felt crowded. The kids keep asking when can we go back!

Perfectly Serene

The cabin was lovely. It was very relaxing to sit on the porch and listen to the birds playing at all times of the day. Everything I needed was there. I would definitely recommend!

Fall Getaway

We needed a few days in the Aeneas Valley and this place never disappoints. Plenty of blankets and a wood stove to keep warm. We really appreciate having all the conveniences of home and then the extras stocked just in case we forgot something! Having a washer & dryer available to use makes it so much nicer not to have to pack dirty clothes home. Thank you again for your hospitality, Michelle. And for those thinking about visiting, this is a gorgeous time of year to see the fall colors!

Absolutely adorable - Lots of room to roam, so quiet and relaxing, saw lots of wildlife, and stretches of dark skies for star gazing - we even saw a spectacular Northern Lights show! We will definitely be back.

A place to quiet the noise

What a gem sitting in the middle of the Aeneas Valley! The whole log home experience with all the comforts of home were provided for our stay. We brought our lab mix with us and she loved the wide open space to run and the creek to explore after a hot day. Our bed was comfortable, every amenity you could possibly need was provided and the peace we felt walking through the door each evening was priceless. Thank you for a clean, hassle free place to call home for a few days, Michelle!

Beautiful Relaxing Charming

The only thing more lovely than this cute little historic cabin is the host! Peaceful surroundings, comfortable furnishings, quaint and authentic decor. We couldn’t ask for more!

Great place to relax and fish

Have been fishing in that area for 25 years, there's so many things that are thought of with this rental. Full kitchen, spices and cooking utensils. We will definitely return in the future. The owner stopped by on day two, with fresh baked leaf of bread, and homemade jelly for the bread that was still warm. Enjoyed our time there so much, great memories for an epic vacation. Thank you Michelle your cabin is perfect!

Pastoral escape

The cabin is off the beaten path and perfect for those people who want to untether themselves from electronic entertainment dependency (although the cabin does have excellent WiFi). Bring a book, walk through the fields of wild flowers, enjoy the natural wildlife right outside the front door. Your blood pressure will appreciate the decompression.

Wonderful cabin for a family

Our stay in the cabin was delightful. We were greeted by fresh made chocolate cookies, which our 7 children gobbled right up. Gorgeous location with a lovely view. We enjoyed walking by the little creek where my boys were thrilled to find a tiny bridge. We enjoyed a fire and s'mores one evening. Sleeping accommodations were perfect. There was an extra queen bed not even on the listing. The shower was fun. Kitchen had everything anyone could possibly need. Too bad the weather was too warm for us to use the gorgeous wood stove ;-) All seven kids, age 17 to 1, had a great time. Bikes were even provided for the kids! Our basset hound enjoyed naps on the sunny porch. Highly recommend.

looking at real estate

Very relaxing setting with everything needed for a great weekend. Cabin is very clean and house is laid out well for a large family or if even 2 family is you like being cozy . wifi is nice as my phone did not have service unless i activated my international plan on verizon. host was very accommodating and the fresh muffins were a nice added touch . I will for sure go back !!

Cabin Stay Aeneas Valley

Michelle's place was a perfect spot to relax by the wood stove and explore the Okanogan outdoors. Lot's of little touches that really make this place special. Banana bread that was waiting was the best I've had! Saw plenty of wildlife and enjoyed watching the donkeys play next door. 10/10 will stay here again.

Relaxing get away

This was one of the most relaxing places we have ever stayed. Such a blessing to get away from the city and take in the surrounding views.
