Perfect Lake Weekend

We had the perfect summer lake weekend staying at Jim's cottages. Both were extremely clean and spacious. Jim was an such an accommodating host and made sure we were set up for the weekend. We would definitely stay again.

Loved it! The owners were very responsive but totally gave us our space. Pontoon was wonderful, kayaks and even a paddleboat, we used them all. Location is terrific. Eight of us were very comfortable, could have even slept a couple more. Dishwasher, laundry, bbq grills, lots of outdoor seating, fire pits, they had it all. We rented both places, but smaller groups could rent either or. Hope to return next summer!

Amazing Family Time

We had a great time at this property. It was two families with a total of 10 people (5 teens). The amount of space between the two cottages was perfect and allowed the teens their own hang out space and sleeping space. The property was great. Well maintained and the lake access with great. We parked our boat and also utilized the kayaks and water mats, which were great. It was a quiet area of the lake but also nice to be away but close enough to the tubing lakes. The backyard allowed us to play baseball, have a fire pit and enjoy the outside. Though the grass was a bit soggy due to rain. The owners were super friendly and responsive to our needs. It could be have been more clear in posting that towels were not included, but we had enough beach towels to make due. Overall a great weekend. Thanks.

We continue to add extra touches to make the experience better for our guests, including store kits for families, upgraded furniture, and new mattresses throughout the rooms. The Otter Lake Lodge brings you back in time with its beautiful solid pine interior throughout the three-bedroom lodge, creating a warm and nostalgic Northwoods feel. While the one bedroom is more modern feel.

One of the things guests love most about staying at Otter Lake Cottage is the peaceful setting. Otter Lake is one of the quieter lakes on the Waupaca Chain, giving you the relaxing “Up North” feel while still being connected to the entire 22-lake chain.
Mornings are calm and quiet—perfect for coffee on the patio, relaxing on the dock, or enjoying the beautiful views across the water. With less traffic than some of the other lakes on the chain, Otter Lake offers a more relaxing atmosphere for swimming, paddling, and unwinding by the water.
When you're ready for adventure, simply hop on the included pontoon boat and explore the famous Waupaca Chain O’ Lakes, known for its crystal-clear water and scenic shoreline. Cruise through the chain, stop at the popular sandbars for pontoon tailgating, or visit well-known lakeside destinations such as:
