The house is wonderful, and Rachael is a great host. All of our questions were answered quickly and we had a great stay. We highly recommend! Also, the dedicated parking is a luxury in town, especially when it snows. We will be back.

This home is loving cared for and perfectly located to walk to all the restaurants, bars, train, trolly ride and shops. We throughly enjoyed our stay. We also took a day to travel to other small towns in the Poconos , Milford was my favorite. If you go there, drop in and say hello to the wonderful people at The water mill . We stumbled across this sweet little gem of a restaurant/ coffee shop/ bar along with its own real working water mill that you can tour... so cool!! Also, make sure to visit Grey Towers National historical site... gorgeous!! The owner of our rental was easy to contact when we had a question and returned our call promptly. Jim Thorpe is such a cute town with great food, shops and drinks, definitely worthy of the trip and the stay at this lovely home.

Excellent location - short walk into main part of town without the hustle/bustle and noise of being in the middle of all the commotion. Having a driveway is key.

Great location and lovely home. Very accommodating for our three adult children and our two little dogs. Host responded very quickly to any questions and was very pleasant. Loved being able to walk into town. Very clean, especially for a dog friendly home. Would love to come back next year!

We loved our stay. House is adorable, clean and very spacious. Perfect location - easy walk to all the entertainment, but just far enough away that it’s peaceful. Parking is a huge plus.

Quaint, historic, comfy property. All the small, intimate rooms and levels were really special. Great location for access to town and very nice to have parking on the property.

Great trip to Jim Thorpe

We had a great time in Jim Thorpe. Rachael was very easy to communicate with and allowed us to check in early (even though we ended up getting there at check it). There was so much to do and we enjoyed the restaurants, bars, and shops. Some pros and cons. Pros: easy check-in, plenty of parking, location (just a 5-7 min walk to town, dog friendly, plenty of room. Cons: although most of the house was clean, we found old tater tots in the oven(smelled pretty bad) and stuff in the dryer, the TV in the primary didn’t work and the TV in the living room said “memory full” and weren’t able to use. We didn’t expect to watch a lot of TV, but we like to see the news and there was a fire happening during the end of our trip so it would have been nice to see the news. Ice machine doesn’t work, but they do have ice trays. We just ran into town and got a 10 pound bag of ice for our stay.

Very comfortable, eclectic fun place to stay!

My wife and I had a great stay at this home. It felt very comfortable, almost as if it were our own home! Plenty of parking in the driveway, it is very close to the downtown area and scenic train ride. The house was very clean and the owners were VERY responsive when communicating. Definitely recommend this cool place in Jim Thorpe!Thanks for the nice stay :)Josh

Great Location

The home was adorable and very historic. It was a 5 minute walk to the city center so it was a perfect location. The only negatives was that it was heated by radiators and a fire place. The radiators of course make a lot of noise and the one in the master didn’t work too well. The couches and beds weren’t super comfortable but we mainly spent our days walking around or driving so it wasn’t a big deal. The kitchen worked well and we were able to make our Holiday meal without any issues. The place was decorated for Christmas so it added to our holiday ambience. All in all super cute getaway!

House had so much character and was in an amazing location - walking distance to everything. Owner was great and very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. We had a great time.

Location, Location, Location!

We loved this house that was right in the heart of Jim Thorpe! We parked the car on Friday & walked everywhere the rest of the weekend! Our party of 6 loved the house & how it was decorated. The owners were accomodating and a pleasure to commuicate with! Can't wait to stay here again!

Great location, adorable house with Parking

Loved this cute property, plenty of room, with a back yard area fire pit and grill. One of only in area with a huge driveway which made it easy to park and walk everywhere. Biking just down the street to the state park. Would definitely book again.

Surprise Weekend Away

Surprised my wife with a weekend away to see a band we love at Mauch Chunk Opera House. Great place to stay for a family and/ or a few friends!! Plenty of space, board games, 2 gaming consoles, fire pit, 2.5 bathrooms, and a tuned guitar! Loved our weekend away!!

Beautiful House, Great Location!! Dog Friendly

Such a cool, charming, beautiful Home! The kitchen is sharp(we didnt cook there because we were on Vaca) The master bath is Sooo unique and nice. Honestly the entire house is decorated very cool, every room is different, Bravo to the decorators! Huge plus is the location! We walked to lunch/dinner everyday, i believe the longest walk was just 10min, plenty of shops, it has a driveway which is a BIG plus! Very dog friendly which was key in our decision, the fire pit area is quite cool. The owner was quick to respond to my questions. I would absolutely stay here again.

Weekend Getaway

Perfect location, parking in driveway which is an added benefit. The house is just as described, kitchen was equipped with what we needed for the weekend, very clean, plenty of towels in bathrooms! I would definitely stay here again! Loved it!!

What a great house right in the middle of Jim Thorpe! The house had everything we needed and more! Every little detail was so charming and cozy! We loved it! The host was so responsive and helpful! Would highly recommend and we look forward to renting the place again!!

Family Long Weekend Getaway

The location of the property is ideal for spending time in the town. Everything is a walk. Parking in Jim Thorpe is at a premium so the fact that we could fit 3 cars in the driveway was a big plus. There were 5 of us and we each had our own beds. Great space off kitchen for family board games. Only caution is to be aware of the fact that although the house can sleep 10 it is priced for 4 so any additional people add an extra daily charge.

Perfect weekend get a way

Perfect location. Easy walk to everything with three kids, ages 4-12, and far enough away that it was quiet when back at the house. We were able to walk back and forth to town multiple times a day. Perfect place for our family.

great house, location

Very pretty house, well maintained, clean. Truly pet friendly, which is great! Owners very informative and responsive. Good location, short walk to the shops and restaurants downtown. A little loud from street noise and other properties parties on Saturday night, but owners said that wasn't usually a problem, might have just been a random bad weekend we were there. Easy to park at the property, be aware that daytime weekend traffic can be kind of of a nightmare going thru/into the downtown area because its so popular - if you can, maybe plan to keep your car parked in their driveway and do walking activities at peak times to avoid the headache!

We kept visiting Jim Thorpe with our two dogs (spark and bagel) and every time we would look for a house to buy. We saw this home 2 years ago but we weren't ready to take on this project. Fast forward to few months ago, we came up to tour another home and when we were about to leave we saw this house was on the market again. It was a sign. Now we own a little piece in Jim Thorpe, this magical town we love so much. We are based in Philadelphia and when we can't come up here we open our home to guests. Some weekends will be blocked off but we are able to share 2 of our 3 bedrooms with guests that love dogs. So even if a weekend is blocked off let us know and we will be happy to host you.

There was no doubt that we wanted to be walking distance from downtown so when this home on Broadway came up to the market we couldn't pass the opportunity. We are located just 10 minutes from downtown and before the old Jail.

Unheard of... and then the house charm, old character with new amenities like a fully renovated kitchen area with an island and everything you need to prep your meals! A dining room for 8-10 people and 2 living room! And don't forget to check the European style tree bathroom... yes I said trees...
