Great House on Lake with Swimming, Fishing and Boating

Great property on the lake that you'll absolutely love. The lake house has a private dock and 150 feet of private lake front for swimming, boating and fishing - all just a couple of yards from the covered back porch. There are several areas throughout the property, both inside and outside, to gather together and relax. There are plenty of games and activities for everyone, including kayaks, corn hole and dart, and a big yard for kids, the family and pets.

The backyard has a covered patio with rocking chairs, ceiling fans and plenty of seating. A BBQ grill and separate hibachi station is available for use for outdoor grilling, and a vintage Coca-Cola cooler to keep your drinks cold while you enjoy the lake views. Party deck with lounge chairs are available for sunbathers, and we also provide several floats for the lake, just in case you forget to bring your own.

This two story house features the living area and 2 bedrooms downstairs, with a bunk room that sleeps 6 upstairs. Two full bathrooms and one half bath offer plenty of restrooms for all the guests - with a laundry room for your use (laundry detergent provided) while enjoying your stay.

Screened in back porch as well for those evenings that have some bugs outside - with a ceiling fans and darts for playing games.

Sleeping: The master bedroom is a king size bed with memory foam mattress, and includes a full master bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin beds that can be pushed together for a king size bed - with sheets available for both twin and king size configurations. The third bedroom has 2 custom triple stack bunk beds that sleep a total of 6 people.

Kitchen: Features an electric oven, oversized refrigerator, and built in microwave. We have plenty of dishes, pots, and pans - a crook pot, deep fryers and coffee maker. The large breakfast bar is great for eating, sitting and snacking - or laying out dinner.

Living room: The living room has two couches and two chairs, and includes big 55 inch TV with cable and Netflix. The 5g WiFi box is under the TV. There are four big windows overlooking the lake.

Bathrooms: There are two full sized bathrooms and one half bath.

There is a Brookshires just 5 minutes away or Walmart 10 minutes away, with plenty of good restaurants, a movie theater, family fun park and bowling alley. There are three places that you can rent boars and jet ski's, or you can call Splash of Fun in Ennis, TX where you can rent jet skis anywhere from $100 to $200 a day.

Great place

Beautiful backyard on the lake. Enjoyed some fishing off the backyard. Lake was choppy most of our stay but can’t control that. Kitchen was well stocked. No conditioner but thankfully we brought a small amount. Owner was very friendly but took some time to respond. Easy check in and check out. Neighbor was nice and apologized for having Jack hammering going on the whole time :)

Wonderful and Relaxing

Our family had the best time! Kyle was a great host and very easy to reach when we had a question. The house was so homey, it had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, the kids had their own areas which was perfect, the back deck was the best place for morning coffee and dinners, and the deck was amazing. We truly enjoyed our week here! This was the peaceful relaxing getaway we needed, thank you!

Perfect lake getaway

The property had everything we needed, fully equipped kitchen, living and dining room for the 8 of us, and beautiful outdoor space to enjoy the lawn, fire pit, and most special - the lake. The home sides in the corner of main lake and lagoon so you get the wide open views of lake and lagoon for safe swimming for the children. All the comforts of home while having a perfect getaway

Great Location & Well Stocked House!

The house was a perfect setup for multiple families & was very well stocked! The kitchen had everything we needed & then some. We really enjoyed making fried rice on the hibachi. The lake & location was great & our group caught a good amount of fish. The lake was low so it was kind of difficult to get out as the ladder off the dock didn't go down very far. Overall, it was a great stay!

Spring break getaway

This lake house was perfect for our 2 families of 4 adults/4 teens. Even though it was cold and windy the kids enjoyed trying out the kayaks and they fished from the dock. They liked having the upstairs bunk room (and 2 monitors to hook up video games.) We caught catfish and turtles. Nice open kitchen/living area with lots of windows and I really liked having plenty of soft seating in the living area. This place is nice and clean but not so perfect where you don’t feel like you can relax. We hope to come back again!

Home was perfect for our family spring break getaway. Plenty of space. Thoughtful touches like some toiletries and snacks available if needed. View of lake was great! Too cold for us to enjoy the water activities, but sure they would be a blast in the summer!

Family weekend at the lake

We had a wonderful time. Our teenagers enjoyed fishing and we’re quite successful doing so. We enjoyed our time relaxing on the back deck, where the fans and breeze kept us comfortable most of the day. One of our favorite things was watching the stars, moonrise and sunrise from the upper level of the dock.

Amazing Cedar Creek Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed this property. It was perfect for our family with 4 teens. The house is beautiful and clean. The beds and couches are comfy with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Three bathrooms is great to have and there were lots of extras that we appreciated. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. We were there when the lake was down 6 feet but we still had a great time. The dock was pretty much on dry land so we had to climb a ladder down to the lake but it was fine actually. The kids took a lily pad out a ways and had fun, they also tried out the kayaks. We didn’t catch any fish but that was probably because the lake was so low. We played darts, cornhole, board games, and had a lot of fun hanging out as a family and getting away from it all. This was the perfect house to do it. There is a bird sanctuary island close by and there was a variety of birds that would hang out on the shoreline by the house. We rented a boat at Lone Star Marina and took the kids tubing on the south part of the lake. Had snow cones at LouLous close by. We would highly recommend this property. Owners are great communicators and everything was as perfect as it could be.

Oasis in a brutal Texas summer

Can't say enough good things about this lovely lake house! It's perfectly set up for a relaxed, fun getaway. We had 6 people and there was room for more - and 3 of us were working remotely, with plenty of quiet space to do so. It's a perfect mix of open floor plan and private areas. Everything is immaculate, comfortable, and very well-maintained, and they've thought of every detail. The sunrise view of the lake is phenomenal, and the dock made it easy to jump in our kayak or take out the paddle boards. Hope we can come back again!

VERY ENJOYABLE LAKEHOUSE WEEKEND

I would highly recommend this lake property. When you first walk in the door you are greeted by a fresh and airy open concept living/dining/ kitchen area that looks right out over the lake. It smells fresh and clean right away. There is a nice screened in porch and a beautiful back porch with rocking chairs and dining table - all with views of the lake. I spent every morning on the back porch with a cup of coffee just dreaming and thinking and praying. All the beds were nicely made and bathrooms were clean and bright. The kitchen is amply stocked and there were spices and staples in the kitchen cabinets. I had brought my own cause I didn’t know what might be there. I left a few spices there to keep the stock growing. There was plenty of paper towels, napkins and TP. The laundry room was also a nice size and bright and cheery with a stack of clean and folded beach towels ready for the quest. There is also a nice sturdy game of corn hole for a yard game. It was a most pleasant and inviting property and Kyle, the host, most considerate and helpful. Our family and friends enjoyed the 3 days immensely - the house and lake were perfect. We would book again. I would give this property and experience a 5 star rating. Thanks Kyle and family for the use of your lake house!!!!

Fantastic location and perfect amenities!

We rented this house as a senior weekend with our son and his friends before all of the goodbyes to various colleges. This house had everything we needed and more to accommodate our weekend trip with 2 adults and 6 teens. The linens were very nice and bed comfort was great. The kitchen had plenty of spices, oils, etc. if you forget your own. Honestly the interior photos do not do this house justice as the view from the living room and deck is phenomenal. After a fun day on the water we rested very comfortably on the down couches and club chairs. The kitchen table was ample enough for dinner and a night of games. There are so many extras provided at this house that we normally do not see on our house rentals, including beach towels, floaties, games and more. Congrats on being our life time favorite rental from some very seasoned renters. Thank you!

Perfect house

Excellent location and the perfect house for a family and friends. The house was well stocked with everything we needed including beach towels and life jackets. The kids loved having access to two kayaks as well. Definitely will be coming back!

Wonderful House!

We rented this home for a get away with some dear friends, it was so perfect. The house was well stocked, the beds were very comfortable, the dock and view were also wonderful. We took the Kayaks out two times to enjoy the area, they were great. We also took the bikes for a spin around the area. The kitchen was well stocked, we cooked most of our meals there without any issues. The owners did a great job on decoration, communication and making sure their guests are well taken care of. Highly recommend this home!

Fabulous Lake Property

A lake vacay was exactly what we needed. The house was perfect as there was plenty of room for my family of 5 plus 2 friends. We had everything we needed and more - home amenities, access to the dock, yard games, etc. Kyle was very accommodating and quick to respond to messages. With easy access to the lake, we brought a boat with us and used the whips to secure. It worked out great. Plenty of life vests and fishing poles were provided for our use, as well as kayaks. I would definitely recommend this peaceful spot for a vacation on the lake. I’m sure we’ll be back.

Great Lakeside Home

This property had everything we needed. Our teenagers had a great time out on our boat. We were able to tie it up to the dock which was nice. The beds were comfortable and everything was so clean!!!!! Nice, fully stocked kitchen. Great back porches.
