This might be the best rental apartment experience we've ever had! I'll break this up, because there are so many (good) things to say.
Bedrooms/Bathrooms: Beds, linens, and pillows are all very comfortable and in excellent condition. You can't go wrong with either bedroom. Both have ensuite baths and excellent storage/closet space. The front bedroom has a bit more street noise, so if you're a light sleeper, head for the bedroom on your left. The bathrooms were outfitted with new, clean towels, a hairdryer, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. The walk-in showers had great pressure. All very modern. The larger bathroom holds the washing machine (no dryer, but there's a drying rack in the second bedroom).
Kitchen: Julien made sure there were snacks, waters, beer, and local ice cream bars awaiting us! The kitchen is very modern and well equipped. The balcony is the perfect spot for an afternoon glass of wine.
Living Room: Plenty of room on the spacious sofas, plus two swivel chairs. Perhaps the best part of this whole apartment is the arched windows in the living room. It's hard to even want to leave the apartment! Just open the windows and you have full sun all day long, and with a gorgeous view of the harbor! Wifi is fast and dependable.
Location: The location can't be beat! a two minute walk to the market, less than 10 min walk to the train station. Head out to the point where the ferry departs and enjoy the beach while looking at the mountains (less than 10 min walk). Just a five min walk to the top of the hill in the suquet.
The apartment is very secure - three locked doors before entering the apartment. This is essentially a penthouse apartment and there is no elevator, so be prepared for lots of climbing (which you'll need after all the pizza and croissants!).
I would not hesitate to stay here again. We had a wonderful time!
