Relaxing Thanksgiving

The view from the cabin is amazing! The cabin was equipped with everything we needed and we had no issues arise while there. The only downfall was that there was a twin bed in the game room in the photos but upon arrival it had been removed, so we had to go buy an air mattress for our son to sleep on.

Gatlinburg vacation

Everything was great except the Dishwasher does not work. After 40 minutes it starts leaking water and foam out the front door at the bottom. Washed all dishes by hand.

Fall break

This was our second stay at this property. We enjoyed the view and how it feels so private. The home is a bit dated, but very well maintained and clean. Driveway is a bit scary, but doable. Love how close to Gatlinburg it is, but yet not too close.

Beautiful area but not a great cabin for the price

Six people ranging in ages from 13 to 75. Six forks and knives in total, had to wash forks/knives between every meal. Have to literally climb through a window to get to heart-shaped tub. Deck beautiful but only two chairs. (Need at least two more for a cabin this size.) Mattreses just okay. Loved the skylights in the bathrooms for natural light. AC worked well. Dishwasher old and the soap dispenser is broken, meaning we washed a load of dishes without soap (trapped in dispenser) and had to hand wash to have dinner. NO WI-FI the entire time. TVs did not work. Called and company sent a tech repairman who fixed the TVs but unable to get WIFI. One of our group had to go into Gatlinburg to do an online business call. Many other places in the area in the same price range, keep looking.

Horrible Management Company

Overall, the property and location was great. However, I will never stay at another property run by this management company. We checked in at 4 on Sunday and did not have heat until late afternoon on Wednesday. Clogged up sink due to garbage disposal not working. Many other issues that all combined to create a nightmare vacation. I called the property management numerous times and only had the heat fixed on the 3rd day. I asked for a manager to call me several time. No call. I sent an email and have had no response. In a nutshell. I would recommend staying here when the management company changes.

Great view, decent house.

House and Location: This is definitely up a mountain, it was tricky to find, its hidden down a long driveway. Breath taking view from the deck. This is not a luxury house, its an older house, with some “renovations”. So the house gets the job done, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There are several tvs with cable tv. The wifi worked great! I was getting 90mb/s! FoodCity grocery store is close by. Downstairs the inner sliding shower door is not fully secure so be careful. Beds and pillows were comfortable. There was not enough towels! I would bring some of your own. The spiraling stairs are tight and a bit scary. They had a bunch of plastic Adirondack chairs outside which break easily. One of the legs broke so i had to report it but it was covered under damage protection fee. There are also two wood rocking chairs outside which are nice. Best for supporting more weight. Pool Table: We used the pool table a lot, cues aren't good and no chalk. Its hard to make certain shots because your cue is hitting the walls. Appliances/Hot Tub/Pool: Washer works fine, dryer takes forever to dry clothes. Hot tub is nice. I stayed down stairs, which is very private, the toilet down there you have to hold the handle down for 5 seconds to make it flush.The swimming pool is not a luxury pool, you have to drive down the hill to get to it and walk up a steep ramp. It was clean but felt like a cheap motel pool. Notice they dont have photos of it in the listing! Insects and wildlife: If you leave a dirty dish in the kitchen sink you will have a trail of ants. I did see a few small centipedes in the downstairs bathroom I killed. There really are bears around, we saw one off the deck! The outside trash is in a metal cage, make sure it is latched. Its kinda hard to latch and unlatch. We didn't latch it one time and we were picking up scattered trash the next morning! All the trash bags were pulled out! Overall a decent place if your okay with an occasional bear and/or bug. Its was very private although you do have neighbors, but cant really see them. Very quiet and can be relaxing depending on who you bring of course!

Cute place. WARNING ⚠️ for steep grades & tight turns!

As I didn’t read the comments until after we arrived, a WARNING ⚠️ of steep grade and the extreme tight corners would have been nice since we arrived after dark. Also a note about the driveway would’ve been great. The description needs to be updated since I didn’t see a porch swing. The house was cute just needs some attention to details, The beds are hard, not an easy access to the jacuzzi (which we didn’t use due to it looked as if it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a while). Other than the above it was nice.

A steep grade and tight corner warning would have been a good heads up when trailering motorcycles to the property. BUT the views and lay out of the property was exactly as described! Great place and will be back (minus motorcycles).

Great trip

Great trip Hot tub smelled funny and there was a leak in the skylight over the heart shaped tub so we didn’t use either one which was disappointing. Cabin was clean and quiet.

We arrived on Saturday during the weather warning advisory which was out of the blue! Upon arrival snow had covered the porch. No biggie. Tried to find a shovel or something to clear snow off the porch. Didn’t have one. So I called the office and they said they would send someone out but they were behind due to the weather. Again, no biggie. Guy came and salted the porch. Eventually realized guy only salted half the porch. Even the steps were salted halfway. Really?! Was only given 6 towels total for the whole house. Party of 6 people. For a whole week! The dryer has to run about 3 or so cycles to dry one load of clothes. And not heavy loads either. The toilet on the main level in the queen room runs constantly. The toilet on main level in king room sometimes doesn’t fill. My hubby had to open the tank to get it back running several times so we could use it. I contacted the office about this and they said they would send someone out but no one ever came. The shower in the king room is extremely small. Hubby hit his head several times on the shower head. Skylight about jacuzzi tub in king room, leaks. We had rain come in a couple of nights during our stay and it dripped all night. Water is extremely hot. Which is a good thing but just beware if you have small kids. Pool table is good for kid entertainment but only one good stick to play with. Pots in kitchen are extremely cheap and stuck the entire time I was cooking. Only a couch and recliner in living room. No TV in king room. Hot tub was very nice on cool nights. Loved the views. Cabin is atleast 3/4 of a mile up in the mountain. Very nice area. Away from everything yet still close. We come to Gatlinburg/PF atleast 2 or 3 times a year. But doubt I’ll rent this cabin again. Unless they do some major upgrades. Wasn’t worth what I paid.

Great overall! Only a few minor issues. Amazing view!

Overall this was a great cabin! I live in Tennessee and we visit the Gatlinburg/ sevierville area at least a few times a year. The cabin was clean and set up well. We had a few issues but nothing major. The pool sticks need to be fixed/replaced and we couldn't get the tv remotes to work with 2 of the TVs. We absolutely loved the view in the morning! Sitting in the hot tub with the sun coming up over the mountain was a beautiful way to start the day.

Amazing View!

We enjoyed our stay at this property and had a great time. The view from the balcony would be hard to beat. Hot tub was nice, but could have been much hotter. Also, the place is a little run down, but not too bad. You're definitely paying for the view here. Overall, we would stay here again.

Great Location, Facility Leaves Some to be Desired

The views from this rental are amazing, and the location is convenient for traveling to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Hot tub was a bonus. House-keeping was responsive to requests. Wi-fi worked well. The cabin was broom-clean and outdated. Bugs were found and cleaned up daily. Common items such as hair-dyers, salt/pepper, and kleenex were not present. Dryer takes several cycles to dry even small loads. Interior stairs are very steep. Living area accommodates a max of 4 adults.

Cozy with Great View

The unit as a whole is smaller than other cabins we have stayed in the area, the down stairs is a bit out dated, and the circular stairwell is an adjustment. However, I am given five stars for the service and accuracy of the listing. The biggest plus is the view here: absolutely incredible.

Excellent resort

Cabin met all of my needs, my party of 6 adults and one child were all comfortable. The view from the front deck was amazing. I would come back here whenever I could. I highly recommend this cabin.

Beautiful view!

Property is well "lived in." Could use some TLC. Dishwasher isn't secure & literally falls forward when trying to load dishes. Some spongy spots in the floor. Toilets flushing power is wanting In spite of this, it served its purpose. The property managers are very responsive & friendly. Our internet wasn't working & they dealt with it quickly & friendly. So overall & in spite of some inconvenient issues, we enjoyed our stay & would use again.

Cockroaches and ants

The overall property had a general lack of maintenance. There were ants and cockroaches on the counter in the kitchen. Trash all over the property. The dishwasher would fall out of the cabinet when you opened the door. Faucets leaked, toleits leaked and some showers had very little water flow. The clothes dryer wouldn't dry. The worst, was there was a complete lack of communication from the property manager. I called four time and left messages. They never returned my phone call. I tried emailing twice through their sight and app. The emails were returned as not a valid email. I messaged through HomeAway app. I got a generic response. I went to the office. Finally found someone. All I got were excuses. Never stay with Vtrips or Jackson Mountain Homes.
