Wonderful stay

Awesome place

This was our second stay, once in Winter, now in Summer. The house is as cosy a home as possible. The hosts are very welcoming and totally helpful. We look forward to visit again.

A hidden gem

Located an hour's drive from Bergen this house is next to a fjord. Even when the weather is bad the large windows create a cosy atmosphere. The host is perfect.

Fantastic

Elin is an indescribably friendly and helpful host. The holiday home was by far one of the most beautiful and lovingly furnished holiday accommodations we have ever had. We spent wonderful and relaxing days here. Everything was just perfect, Tusan Takk

Very nice and tastefully house

Great house, very nice layout, fully equipped, very very clean, tastefully furnished. The view is fantastic. We were welcomed by the very nice owner, the fireplace was already burning. There was even a Christmas tree. Only the bedrooms are quite chilly in winter, but that didn't bother us. We had a marvellous week!

Well equipped and clean cottage with beautiful views

Very nice, well equipped and clean cottage with beautiful views on the fjord. Reactive and nice owner. Everything was perfect. Ideal place to spend family holidays in nature. Nice walks not far from the cottage. Fireplace is very cosy during winter time. Easily accessible from Bergen and Bergen airport.

Beautiful place with extraordinary views

The photos do not do it justice. The house is beautiful, the views incredible! The house has everything you could possibly need. Peaceful place 1 hour from Bergen. Elin could not have been a better host. No doubt at all we will be back if we should decide to visit Norway again.

We had a wonderful time at Elin’s beautiful home. The property is extremely comfortable and has exceptional views. We were extremely fortunate to spot a pod of orca on the first day (although after speaking to friendly locals, apparently this is rare). Spotting porpoises from the property was a daily highlight though. There is much to see in the area surrounding the property (within an hours drive). Do your research first though, so you’re armed with a wish-list of places to see. We would definitely love to return. It’s been a holiday of a lifetime.

Fantastic house with breathtaking views

The house is a real gem, it is very spacious, clean, tastefully furnished und fully equipped. It has lots of space outside, too, and a perfect view on the fjord. Ideal for a relaxed vacation as you can sunbathe on the terrace, take a swim, walk or rent a boat from the hosts. A supermarket and a restaurant at the shore are nearby. Elin and her husband were most helpful, easy to contact and friendly. All in all, we had a great week in Strandvik. Strongly recommended!

Das Haus ist wunderschön und mit viel Stil und Liebe eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Den ganzen Tag Sonnenlicht durch die großen Fenster - ein Traum. Sehr behaglich ist auch die Beleuchtung mit vielen möglichen Lichtquellen am Abend, pure Behaglichkeit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Perfekt finden wir auch die Lage so nah am Wasser: Angeln und Baden im Fjord waren herrlich.Und: Superfreundliche, wirklich sympathische Gastgeber. Dankeschön!

Das Haus liegt in einer perfekten Lage , direkt am Fjord. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft. Alle Zimmer sind modern ausgestattet. Jedes Zimmer ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt.Wir können das Ferienhaus nur weiter empfehlen.Genau der richtige Ort für die Erholung.

Vielen lieben Dank, für diesen wunderschönen Aufenthalt, in diesem liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus. Wir hatten zwei tolle Wochen mit durchwachsendem Wetter in einem tollen Ferienhaus. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, an wirklich alles wurde gedacht. Familie Klyve hat sich liebevoll um uns gekümmert. Was wir benötigt haben, konnten wir uns im nächstgelegenen Supermarkt, ca. 1km entfernt, kaufen. Es gibt genügend Möglichkeiten die Freizeit sinnvoll zu gestalten, genauso der Ruhesuchende findet hier seine Entspannung. Wir möchten uns auf diesem Wege noch einmal ganz herzlich bedanken und freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen.

Besser geht es kaum!

Es ist ein sehr tolles Ferienhaus mit phantastischem Ausblick und super nette Vermieter.Es fehlt an nichts! Und wer nicht "Kampf"-angler ist, der findet auch hier recht schnell ausreichend gute Fische.Danke an Elin und Ihre Familie.

A Home Away from Home

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful home! It was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was exactly as described—if not better. The kitchen was well-equipped, the outdoor space was peaceful, and the hosts were kind, responsive, and helpful. One of the best stays we’ve ever had—we’d love to come back!

Wunderschönes Haus...

.... mit einzigartigem Blick auf den Fjord. Die Bilder sprechen für sich. Wir hatten während unseres Aufenthaltes von Sturm bis strahlendem Sonnenschein alle Wetterlagen und können sagen, das Haus ist für jede Situation bestens geeignet. Elin ist eine sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite und unkomplizierte Gastgeberin. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit dort und kommen gerne wieder.
