Escape from Houston!

We spent Thanksgiving week hiking and exploring. It snowed and was absolutely gorgeous! Lyons is such a chill place, we love it here. 10/10 would love to come back again!

Family Trip to the Snow

Best Christmas/New Years family vacation! Six adults and 2 children took to the ski slopes at Eldora, and went sledding and hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. We were able to cook meals at the house and enjoyed walking around the town, playing in the park and geocashing with the little ones. Love Lyons, CO!

A Wonderful Stay in Lyons!

We loved our stay in Lyons! Ginger was a lovely host and we had the opportunity to meet her in person and hear about her love of Lyons. She was extremely accommodating of our last-minute booking and even offered us toys for our little one to borrow! The property was about 10 minutes from some of our favorite Lyons spots, including Moxy (great pastries and coffee!) and Planet Bluegrass (we were in town for the festival). The apartment had all the comforts of home and was exactly what we needed! We would definitely recommend this to families, couples, or friend groups traveling to Lyons.

Perfect location & comforts of home!

This VRBO had the perfect location for our visit to Rocky Mountain National Park, Boulder, and Denver! We also enjoyed walking to MainStage Brewing for amazing pizza and trivia. Lyons is a nice little town and everyone was very friendly! We wanted to avoid the altitude sickness (headaches) caused by spending the night in a higher elevation like Estes Park and Lyons worked out well for that. We had plenty of space for 5 adults. It was a comfortable home away from home with everything we could have wanted! We would highly recommend this VRBO!

Home Away From Home

My sisters and I had a wonderful time staying at Ginger's VRBO, and as one of my sister's described the home it was like living in a tree top. The rental entrance is up an outside flight of stairs with an outdoor space. The home is spacious, and very clean with 3 bedrooms, a spacious livingroom, nice big table in-between the livingroom and full kitchen, full and 2 full bathrooms with one off the master bedroom. There are a/c units in all bedrooms and in the livingroom, also a washing machine and dryer. The location is perfect and quiet, and just blocks away from quaint downtown Lyons. Ginger made us feel very welcomed and gave us great sightseeing tips. You will not be disappointed with renting this wonderful home.

Excellent Experience - Great Property and Hosts!

This place was perfect for our visit to Lyons with family. It had everything we needed like a spacious open living room, dining and kitchen for hanging our comfortably with family or just lounging around. 2 bathrooms was perfect for our group of 4 including a teenager who very much appreciated having his own room. The location is great! It was easy walking distance to a coffee shop, restaurants, parks and little shops. And last but not least the hosts were fabulous!! I appreciated them reaching out by text and phone to make sure we got to the property with no issues. Meeting them in person only reinforced that appreciated. Very friendly and lovely family. Stay here! You won't regret it.

Wonderful Lyons Family (or multiple adult couples) Getaway

We rented this property to be in Lyons for a dear friend’s celebration of life. The three bedrooms / 2 baths were perfect for my husband and me, our adult daughter plus her partner and 16 month old son, and 9 year old granddaughter. It would also work very well for multiple adult couples / singles. The shared living space is open concept and comfortable. The private side yard is a plus and was a great play space for the kids. The property is within an easy walking distance of downtown Lyons. We cooked dinner for the entire family one night and enjoyed local restaurants for the other nights. There are games, puzzles, and books available - we managed to complete the 500 piece puzzle. Ginger and Roy are awesome hosts - great proactive communication before check in and very responsive during our stay. We highly recommend and are looking forward to staying again.

So comfortable

My Family members were here in Lyons for a nearby wedding venue. Roy and Ginger’s place was perfect for our group of 8. Their place was so clean, spacious and comfortable. The communication was great- check-in was easy. Great hosts. Very nice people.

Business Trip lodging - better than a hotel!

Archaeologists travel alot for work and usually stay in a hotel. This was a much better location close to work site and was a perfect home-away-from home for a week! Thanks so much!

what a welcoming host and great location

Ginger and Roy are wonderful hosts. We were in town for bluegrass festival and our party numbers changed last minute. We were still within the property parameters and they were so gracious to accept the changes so our friend from out of town could stay with the family. Ginger was great to show us where some toys and games would be good our age kids as well. I was wishing I could live there forever. Highly recommend.

Love Lyons!

We had a short stay at this property, had a really good time and would stay again. We had everything we needed and then some, the Host was always available to loan a picnic blanket, lawn chairs and give advice on local events and restaurants. Only down side was the AC in the kitchen/living room wasn’t working well, but the bedrooms were cool and again, the Host went above and beyond to make sure we were as comfortable as possible with fans and advice on when to keep the curtains closed, etc. We would recommend giving this place a try!
