Très bon séjour en famille

Nous sommes ravis de notre semaine dans cette maison. Le propriétaire est vraiment sympathique, il nous a même proposé de venir un soir plus tôt que prévu pour nous éviter les embouteillage du weekend. La maison est très spacieuse et propre. Le jardin est vraiment grand et agréable (cependant non clôturé). La véranda est grande et idéale pour manger et profiter du soleil. La cuisine est petite mais fonctionnelle, il y a assez de place pour manger dans la salle à manger ou la véranda. La literie est très bien. Le fait d'avoir 3 WC est très pratique, surtout avec des enfants. Les salles de bains sont très correctes. Au niveau de la situation, la maison est située idéalement pour profiter de tous les atouts du Sud de la Vendée et du Nord de la Charente. On peut rayonner pour aller voir le marais Poitevin, les plages vendéennes, La Rochelle, Fort Boyard, ... Il y a deux supermarchés à proximité et beaucoup de villages proposent des marchés dans les alentours. En conclusion, nous sommes enchantés de cette location et recommandons la maison et la région.

La qualité doit être améliorée

Globalement, le descriptif est respecté. Mais c’est le niveau de qualité qui pose problème. Nos remarques ne visent qu’à l’amélioration ultérieure. Cuisine : - Exiguë - Four trop petit pour le nombre de personnes pouvant être accueillies - pas de bouchon pour boucher l’évier Salle de bain du rez-de-chaussée : - douche au sol incliné dans le mauvais sens, d’où des problèmes d’évacuation d’eau - la porte aurait dû être montée dans l’autre sens - lavabo : problèmes d’odeurs WC du bas et du haut : pas de loquet ou de clé pour s’enfermer ! Véranda : - aucun store (ni intérieur ni extérieur) alors qu’elle est en plein soleil tout l’après-midi - énorme plante grasse inutile et dangereuse, qui y mange une partie de la place Jardin : - grand mais pas aménagé et pas entretenu - pas de mobilier de jardin (table, chaises) pour y passer du temps - seulement 4 chaises longues alors qu’il y a 8 couchages

Brilliant location, lovely property in need of extra input

Fantastic location allowing easy access to the beaches of the Vendée, the Marais Poitevin, La Rochelle, Cognac, the town of Luçon, the lake of Chassenon and more. Moreilles is a small village with a bakery so a car is necessary! The bakery is not open on Sundays but there is a baguette machine. The house is a lovingly restored property with lots of space including a long garden, apart from the kitchen. We were a group of 6 adults and a baby and we found the kitchen a bit cramped and missing some essential items. Dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, filter coffee, fridge/freezer all fine. Small 'oven' didn't really work and we read the instructions. 2 large reception rooms and the sun room were all great. Downstairs bedroom, shower, toilet fine, but that was the only shower for upto 8 people? Upstairs the bedrooms, although a good size, became very warm at night. Bathroom and a separate toilet were fine. The pool lasted less than a week before it turned green, and we definitely followed instructions on running the filter system and putting in chlorine tablets. That took 3 days before being fixed and, then, the pool started throwing a pipe and was unusable once more. We did enjoy our stay but feel for the price we were charged that the problems mentioned should have been fixed or, at least worked on. Mr Bouard was always quick to answer e-mails prior to the visit and welcomed us on arrival and was prompt for our intended departure time. After our departure I sent him an e-mail thanking him for our stay and telling him of our concerns. I said that I hoped he took our comments as a positive incentive on how to improve an already good property and that we did not intend to offend him. He chose not to reply.

- About the pool : the price of the house is half of the prices of others comparable houses with pool and in fact is the price of houses without pool in Vendée. The pool was a plus, in fact free. The problem will disapear because the pool will be remove at the end of this summer - About the fact of having one shower and a bath room upstair : the house was described and photos were added with these accomodations. I don't understand how you can criticize something you perfectly know when you rent the house. I add that the legal rule in France is to have a bath room for six persons and a added shower for more - About the temperature of the rooms upstair : the walls are very thick (half a meter, in stones), the roof is isolated with glass wool, and the windows as small protect the house of the sun. The temperature in the period was not high for the season. So i don't understand how you can feel warm. The advice to be given is to cloase the windows during the day and use the shutter to protect from the sun (two rooms are oriented to north east) - About the kitchen : except the oven, which is maybe small but permit to cook a chicken, i don't read in the appreciation what is missing. The kitchen is about 10 square meters and is devoted to prepare meals but not to be a meeting point for many persons. There is enough place in the three rooms besides the kitchen to meet and discuss.

Séjour très agréable, au calme

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la maison, qui est très spacieuse et vraiment calme. La région est superbe et il y a de nombreuses activités variées à portée de main. Maison très bien équipée, propriétaire très serviable. Nous recommandons.

calme et agréable

Propriétaire très sympathique. Gîte très spacieux, véranda très agréable. Nous avons apprécié le calme et la tranquillité ainsi que le sans vis à vis. Cette location correspondait tout à fait à nos attentes.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour autant du point de vue touristique que du point de vue hébergement. Nous étions 6 et avons pu profiter de l'espace qu'offrait le gîte. Les pièces sont spacieuses et joliment meublées. Il est bien équipé et très bien entretenu. Le jardin est superbe et nous avons même pu déguster quelques poires des arbres fruitiers. Les enfants ne se sont pas ennuyés une minute. Il n'y a aucun vis à vis c'est très agréable. L'accueil du propriétaire est chaleureux. Nous avons eu plaisir à le rencontrer et discuter avec lui. D'ailleurs merci pour le raccourci pour aller au supermarché, ça évite les bouchons. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir si l'occasion se présente à nouveau.

Superbes vacances

Maison très spacieuse et calme, tout confort avec un très grand jardin clôturé idéal pour les enfants et pour le chien. Beaucoup de sorties dans les alentours. Prioritaire très agréable.

Superbes vacances

Maison très spacieuse avec un grand jardin clôturé, idéal pour les enfants et le chien. La véranda qui donne sur le jardin et les arbres fruitiers est un atout non négligeable. La région est très belle avec de belles sorties à faire. Propriétaire accueillant et agréable. À refaire avec grand plaisir.

Excellent séjour!

Très belle maison, spacieuse, bien équipée et bien entretenue. Idéal pour les enfants, très beau jardin arboré et clôturé. Endroit calme mais proche de commerces. Nombreuses activités à faire dans la région. Très bon accueil du propriétaire.
