We were very comfortable and it had everything we needed. We loved the taxidermy and the sportsman theme. We hope to be back to stay longer. There was so many things to do nearby, also. The hosts were so helpful and nice. Fabulous!!!!!

Five star host! House was extremely well provisioned and comfortable and about as real Alaska as you can get. Our second stay here and we will come back again next year.

Ideal Basecamp for Adventures In and Around Seward

Cozy, comfortable location near central Seward. Proximate to downtown, the port and other outdoor destinations. Cabin has rustic charm and nice outdoor amenities in around the property.

Fun, functional and fabulous! Everything you need: Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, W/D, firepit and outdoor cookout area... anc a super helpful landlord! Gorgeous sportsman themed accommodation. Very close drive to downtown Seward. Highly, highly recommended.

Beautiful property and house. Host left fresh homemade cookies that looked like bear paws ! She was very friendly and responded promptly. Couple miles from town so quiet and secluded. Loved it ! Definitely recommend this house !

Amazing, extremely clean and beautiful property. The place is extremely spacious, and for the price it is such a great deal for Seward. One of the best experience we've had with a rental home. The owner also provided home-made cookies which were soo delicious. Recommend 100%!!

We only stayed one night but we wished it could have been longer! Beautifully decorated and stocked with anything you could ever imagine. Plenty of on site activities to keep you busy in the evenings or during the day when not exploring the area. Absolutely will be back!

When we booked our stay, we were looking more at the location and the bedroom configuration than anything else, which worked very well for us. When we got there we were pleasantly surprised by the decor, which was in the photos, but we had rushed past. It was a great place to stay! We ran out of propane while Lona was at work, but she was able to get us going again very quickly. Lona is very friendly and a very good host. If our travels ever lead us back to Seward, we would love to stay here again!

What a great property! The owners are wonderful. So much cool stuff to enjoy. The home was so awesome and had everything and more than we needed.If we travel back to the area we will stay again... Much longer!!

A great place to stay!

The property is secluded and quiet. It has an outdoor area with a fire pit and plenty of room to socialize. The interior is Alaskana, with mounted animals (including a brown bear). Very clean and nice. I highly reccomend.

First trip to Alaska

This house was perfect for our family, and centrally located to all our planned activities! Check-in was a breeze and the home had everything we needed. At the end of a busy day of fun, we relaxed by the fire pit, and played corn hole and horse shoes! Lona is the perfect host! We will definitely stay there again, if we make it back to Alaska!

Seward gem

Spent a couple nights here, and had a very pleasant stay. Dean and Lona could not have been more welcoming. The home is clean and well-appointed, and has a lot of nice touches, like the outdoor area for grilling and games. Would love to return here sometime.

Amazing stay!

Just returned from our Alaska vacation and our stay in Seward was fantastic. Our hosts were amazing. They checked in on us to make sure things were good. Gave us suggestions on things to do. The accommodations were amazing. You will not be disappointed in your stay. Do not pass staying here.
