My husband and I stayed for a week at Matt’s place and we had the BEST experience! The beach was such an easy walk and we spent many hours on the screened in porch listening to (and getting a little glimpse of) the water. There were very few people on the beach and it felt like we had it to ourselves. We would love to bring the family back and rent the entire house next time. Matt was the perfect host, even loaning us a couple of beach towels and a small cooler to use. He definitely went above and beyond as a host! Our two favorite places to eat were Quattro Locos and Indian Pass Raw Bar.

This location is perfect for a laid back Vacation. Close to Apalachicola and Port St Joe!Beautiful non-crowded Gulf Front Beach is viewed from our Large full length screened front porch! Comfortable padded furniture on this porch too! Large king bedroom overlooks the Ocean! Beautiful private pool just behind the house! This bottom floor house was Huge and very comfortable! This is a much Larger space than you will find anywhere else! Full Kitchen with everything you need to cook your meals. Several Restaurants are just a few miles away, in either direction! Great Hwy 30 access too! Huge parking lot! Be sure to Dine at Hunts Oyster Bar close by, near Port St Joe! Ceiling fans in every room, great A/C unit keeps this house Cool! Large easy step into Shower with awesome Hot water too! The Host Matt and Debbie, were very helpful. Plenty of towels and linen. Full Laundry room to keep your clothes clean! This house is very close to the Beach! This property is Dog Friendly, and so is this Beach! We can’t wait to come back to a Salty Dog Paradise, in Port St Joe!

Matt and his wife were super friendly making sure we had everything we needed,meeting Chance was fun too.The house was clean and close to the beach and quiet would definitely recommend to friends.

This was a last-minute booking and I cannot describe how wonderful the experience was. Everything was perfect. From the house being clean, comfortable and well equipped to the pool being warm and inviting. Extremely dog friendly and she also enjoyed herself immensely! I hope to be back MANY more times. Thank you for a relaxing and memorable stay!

Perfect Get away for a couple

We were delighted with the location, the decor and functionality of Salty Dog on the Rocks! We also enjoyed the pool, the grill and the front porch immensely. Best of all, Matt - the owner - was readily available to answer any questions. We will definitely come back and bring the rest of the family to rent the whole house!
