Location was perfect

Quiet neighborhood near everything, including a great Metro line that got you into Central Paris quickly. Our only disappointment was the promised weekly maid service did not happen so we spent a day of our vacation washing towels and sheets. Also there was a terrible plumbing problem that we DID NOT cause and had to pay a plumber to fix. Very nice place if there were more maintenance.

Wonderful, quiet Paris apartment

The apartment has a very Parisian feel in the decor and the location is quiet but centrally located to shops and the metro. The twin beds´ mattresses are now a little worn where there is a noticeable dip in the mattresses. They were not the most comfortable as they were more worn than the main bedroom mattress.

Location, Location!

We had a lovely stay in Paris - the location of this apartment is amazing. It is a very quick walk to the Champs-Elysées/L'Arc de Triomphy and to the Place de Trocadero. There is a metro stop down the hill with restaurants and markets all conveniently close. Communication with the property manager was very easy. For Americans traveling (I am not sure of the international expectations for renters), ask about the basics that are made available upon arrival. We were without dish soap/detergent, and one whole role of toilet paper between the two bathrooms for a week long stay - Minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things, and we purchased these items (it may have just been an oversight - and certainly not enough to affect the overall rating).

Typical apartment

We had booked with HomeAway the perfect Parisian apartment some 6 months prior to our visit in April to have the apartment owner cancel our fully paid for reservation 3 weeks before our trip to Paris (this possibility never occur to me. Glad it was 3 weeks prior not the night before our arrival!!). Needless to say, we were grateful to get this apartment for our 7 night stay with such short notice but it was not the iconic Parisian apartment we had booked previously. The apartment is quite worn out. The shower glass enclosure had soap streaks, the curtains had water stains . . . The location was maybe it's only saving grace. It is a short walk from the metro station. I'm sure if I had more time, I could have found a much better apartment in Paris.
