The Great:Overall the house, the beach is amazing. The house has 3 bedrooms and then a bunk bed in the laundry room. The house is right on the beach, the gazebo right in front of the house overlooks the ocean has plenty of seating, etc. There's a fire pit, a bbq, outdoor shower, hose for rinsing off etc. The beach in December was very quiet, we barely saw any people on the beach. There was probably a recent storm and lots of seaweed and unfortunately trash on the beach but certainly not a reflection of the overall property. The Bad:On the negative side, the house is neglected. The refrigerator in the kitchen and microwave are broken, the electric stove has a broken part to its glass, which makes cleaning not work well, some outlets around the house do not work, some are missing covers which poses a safety challenge for very small children, the deck had nails popping up all over. We stepped on them a couple of times, which hurt and eventually found a hammer and nailed them back down. For the most part, there are adequate dishes, but the pots and pans are a little bit lacking, but we made due. Having to use the refrigerator in the laundry room was inconvenient but worked out.Overall, the house just needs some help. If someone stayed there for a month or two and fixed it up properly it would be worth the nightly price easily, but in the condition that it's in, it's overpriced. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with as was the lady on the island who helps out.
