Wonderful spot with a very responsive host! Beautiful outdoor space a great place to take your dogs. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere after a busy holiday sprint. Looking to possibly return in the spring and will consider Rick’s spot again.

The dog corral was great for our dog yo expend energy without having to worry about him jetting off to chase the wildlife.

Enjoyed our stay water was down so not good for fishing ( not owner’s fault obviously) our fur baby enjoyed swimming and the open area to lounge and run around Would recommend in winter time to have the heater going plenty of time before guest arrival it took a full day to warm the house didn’t bother me as much as my wifey Also recommend having the rails re-done on the pool table for the pool players like ourselves wasn’t fun to play on overall the house is well equipped with anything you need as far as cooking sleeping etc. very nice and comfortable. Its about 10 minutes where you can get groceries or get some local grub if your a pizza fan Twisted Tomato is a great choice

Very nice property and amenities. Loved the outdoor fireplace and the space by the creek. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. It made for a wonderful getaway with just me and my husband but the house has space for a lot more than just 2 people.

We had a great time at Creek-N-Awesome. The riverfront is the highlight and we made great use of the wood burning stove on the back porch. Host is very responsive and the cabin is in a good location to Blue Ridge and the apple orchards. Check out Folk Collaborative just up the road for some excellent coffee and pastries. We hope to be back one day.

We had a great time on our trip. We had a couple of issues but Rick got it taken care of right away. Rick always responds very quickly. We will definitely love to stay at Creek-N-Awesome in the future.

Great location in the middle of the woods with a beautiful stream Kids enjoyed swimming in the water. But close enough to go to downtown Blue Ridge.

We loved our stay at Creek-N-Awesome! We spent lots of time sitting on the porch listening to the creek! We came for trout fishing and caught lots of trout nearby! The property was perfect for our dog to wander around and she loved the dog corral! Rick was a great host and checked in with us upon arrival and when we left! It was a perfect stay in Blue Ridge!

Family vacation in the mountains

We loved the area. I was under the impression that the cabin was closer to Blue Ridge, but it was actually closer to McCayesville. Beautiful area and the cabin has 4 beds and a sleeper sofa. There was a nice living room, kitchen dining area we enjoyed each night.

Lovely place! Close to downtown. Fully stocked kitchen was great! Driveway is gravel so a little difficult to get up. Owner is quick to communicate !would stay again. Plenty of room.

Creek n awesome was just as described. Beautiful location. Fully stocked. Plenty of space for our extended family. The hot tub, air hockey, pool table and fishing kept the kiddos very busy and happy. We’d love to return sometime.

We enjoyed our stay!

The property grounds and cabin were clean and well maintained, and the best part for us was the outdoor fireplace and sitting area in the screened-in lanai. We spent most of our time there enjoying the fire as we listened to the rushing river. The cabin had everything we needed, and the host was accessible, responsive, and accommodating. Even though it rained for the majority of the time we were there, the beauty of the cabin, property, amenities, and a gracious host, overshadowed the lack of "ideal" weather.

Relaxing Getaway

From initial contact through checkout process, the communication was great. I stayed over the weekend with the family and dogs and it was an amazing time. The cabin layout is well put together and was actually bigger than expected. All of the necessities and more were in the cabin. I loved back porch with the wood burner fireplace, it had seating and was enclosed while still enjoying the view of the outside and the cool air. My wife loved the riverside firepit, it also had seating and picnic table along with the hammock which she enjoyed with the babies along the relaxing sound of the river flowing. Overall the experience was a fantastic one, the cabin was great and welcoming and I would highly recommend it.

Winter wonderland

We live outside of Atlanta and needed a mountain reboot. Kids had off from school so we decided to travel at the last minute. When we saw that snow was possible, we were excited. We were even more thrilled when it snowed almost one whole day and the morning of another! We loved building a snowman by the creek and then sitting in the hot tub when it was freezing out! Staying in and reading by the fire was the rest we needed! The downstairs game room was great. I would absolutely go back!

Excellent stay!

The cabin pictures do not do it justice and we found the cabin to be much nicer than displayed. A great property with everything you need for a great time. The beds were comfy and the cabin was very clean with lots of extra items like kitchen supplies and appliances. Access to the water for fishing was easy. Rick checked in to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. Definitely will stay again and looking forward to it!

I've lived in Atlanta area since 1999. This cabin was purchased new in 2007 and has been on a rental program since then. I am only 1 1/2 hours from the cabin so I constantly check in when it's not rented and make sure things are in order.

This cabin sits at the end of the road behind a privacy gate that only has one other cabin. No other cabins across the river. You can enjoy a lot of privacy and tranquility.
