This is the second time we have stayed at this beautiful property and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The cottage is stunning with everything you need to enhance your stay and the grounds are impeccably kept and amazing. Also the Host is so kind and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

Lovely farmhouse in an excellent location

The house is in a nice little village with local walks and in a great location for exploring the Loire Valley by car. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. The large enclosed garden was ideal for our dog.

A lovely property with a beautiful garden. The house is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Lots of outside seating and eating areas too including a barbeque within a covered eating area (handy if it is very hot).Lovely and very helpful host - we'll be back.

Great place to relax

We greatly enjoyed our time at this property. The owner was very welcoming and explained clearly how everything worked. The facilities were first class, and we were very comfortable. We would certainly recommend this place.

Wonderful holiday home

We stayed for one week 1st - 8th June 2024. Lydie and family were lovely hosts and we wanted for nothing - a real home from home. The gite is exactly as described and photographed - the house has lots of character and was beautifully clean for our arrival. Very comfortable beds too. The garden and outside eating area make this gite very special indeed and we'll certainly return.

Excellent Accommodation

The accommodation is set in a quiet village with easy acces to Saumur and the area of the Loire from Angers to Tours. It is well eqipped and very comfortable. The large garden is an added bounus. The owner, Lydie is welcoming and helpful. All in all an excellent placeto stay.

Beautiful property in lovely location. Owners leave you alone to enjoy your holiday but are only a message/call away if you need anything. Will highly recommend. We travelled as 4 adults and 1 large dog. Large garden to enjoy French sunny days

Lovely stay

Wonderful large cottage and outdoor space. During the very hot spell we used the downstairs bedroom which stayed cool, the property has everything you need for a lovely holiday which is located close to all of the tourist spots and is a great location for a cycling holiday. Lydie the owner is very welcoming and was in contact with us to guide us about the property. We will definitely be returning.

A little slice of French heaven.

I cannot find the words to describe just how perfect this Gite is and give it the justice it deserves. It is beautifully decorated with all the equipment you need to enhance your stay. The garden is huge and laid out superbly and perfect if you have a dog with you. We loved our stay so much we booked our return stay for next year whilst we still sat in the garden at the property!

Charming Farmhouse

We stayed at this charming house for our 5 day visit to the Loire Valley. The house was very clean, functional and comfortable. There is ample secured parking and a lovely yard area with outside seating. Beds are comfortable and there is a well-equipped kitchen. It was also very quiet. Check-in and out was a breeze. Lydie, the owner, takes pride in her house and it shows. Thank you!

Tranquility

Excellent gite which met all our needs. The back garden was absolutely fantastic and so well cared for. The front courtyard was also superb with a sheltered area for our "aperitifs" in the evening! Peaceful little hamlet with a nice little bar/restaurant just around the corner. Not far from Saumur and many other chateaux. We intend to return - possibly with two other family members. Lorna and Peter.

Highly recommend this lovely holiday house!

Very nice holiday house on the edge of a small village surrounded by beautiful countryside. Met by owner - very friendly and helpful. House is very well equipped with everything you need for a lovely stay. Garden is big, private and very well kept. Area for eating out in the yard and a car parking area under a covered garage. Electric gates with a key fob. Nearby Vivy has a lovely bakers, butchers and post office. Lots of supermarkets to choose from in the area. An excellent base to visit some lovely places such as Saumur, Tours and Angers. Flat for cycling and great cycle paths to choose from. Hope to return again one day.
