Wonderful lake home on Wilson Lake situated between the Wilson & Wheeler dams on the Tennessee River. Charming & comfy, relax on one of several porches to enjoy the views, grill, chiminea or hammock. Fish, swim, kayak, or enjoy your own boat. Lots of historical landmarks, hiking, antique shops, quaint towns. Music lovers must see Fame Studios in Muscle Shoals, birthplace of the blues and home to Rock n Roll.

The host made sure that the house was completely stocked. She made us feel so welcome. We loved everything about it… the access to docks, the sweet dogs that visited, the warm reception from the neighbors. We will be back!

Loved this property.

What a great stay we had, the lake was beautiful, lots of wildlife, the house was so clean and had everything you could possibly need! The owners were great!!!! lots to do in town. Thank you so much for letting us use your home! We will be back!

Weekend get away.

Chris was great. This property has everything that we needed from fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and very nice, clean bathrooms. We also enjoyed our time on the screened in back porch grilling and spending time with family. I will definitely stay here again.

Lake Rental

We rented this house while in town for a wedding. It was very clean, well stocked and comfortable. Owner is very quick to answer any messages. Lots of amenities and kitchen is well stocked if cooking at the home. Screened in porch overlooking the lake was great for coffee on cool mornings.

Home away from home

Excellent on all aspects. VERY clean and very well stocked with whatever you need. Chris and Al were right next door and we enjoyed talking with them. Would highly recommend their home and would definitely stay there again.

Quaint little place to relax & catch up with friends

Very fun girls weekend! Nice little place to relax & unwind. Had nice smelling linens/ towels & comfy clean beds. Very well stocked with lots of attention to detail. The screened in porch with a lake view was the best!

Just what the weekend called for !

Chris is an amazing host. Very accommodating. The house was well stocked over and beyond expectations. We enjoyed playing games on the screened in porch, laying out on the deck, sleeping in very comfortable beds. Just as if you were at home. We will definitely be back. Also we loved meeting Smelly Nelly and Chipper, the fur babies. Excellent! Lori

Great Vacation Rental House

Loved this place! The house was charming and well-kept. The lake and pier were beautiful. Chris and Al, the owners, were friendly and attentive to our every need. We've stayed in lots of vacation rentals, but this one by far had everything you could need and more. Wish we could have told Chris and Al good-bye, but we left early in the morning. We would stay here again!

Best hosts ever!!!

The house was fantastic and has absolutely everything you could want or need. Chis and Al (hosts) live next door and are wonderful people who want guests to have a great time. Al even helped us launch our boat. You can’t find better hosts or a place to stay on Lake Wilson.

Excellent Experience

This home checks all the boxes. Anything you might want is definitely in the home and is VERY friendly for all ages. I can’t recommend this home and Chris and Al enough. We plan to return!!!

Laid Back Wilson Lake Home

We spent a relaxing week on the shore of Wilson Lake. The home is equipped with everything you need to be comfortable. We enjoyed lounging on the screened porch as well as the dock. The hosts were cordial, inviting, and available. We will be back to this wonderful home on the lake.

Mom/sisters girls trip

This trip was a wish my 82 year old mother wanted to have with her 3 daughters. We had an absolutely perfect girls trip! Chris and Al could not have been more attentive and helpful! Their restaurant suggestions were perfect! The house had everything you could possibly ever need! Not to mention the beautiful lake view! Hopefully we will be able to visit again.

Great place for R & R

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend here. The house was so nice & was extremely well stocked. We really loved spending time in the screened-in porch. The view was beautiful. Chris & Al were so attentive. They even helped with getting our boat in & out of the water & allowed us to use their covered slip. Their dogs, Chipper & Nellie, are fun! We definitely plan to go back.

Beautiful and friendly views

We came in town for Thanksgiving and Chris was wonderful about checking immediately that everything was good with the house. There was everything you might need in case you forgot-coffee, teas and toiletries. Beautiful dock and back porch very quiet neighborhood with beautiful views of the water from the front and back of the house. We slept so good my husband insisted I ask what mattresses were on the beds!

Amazing experience

We can't say enough good things about the property and the hosts! Chris and Al made us feel like family. The house is the best appointed out of any VRBO we've booked in the last 10 years. Comfortable beds and furniture with high-quality linens and appliances. Tons of information available about local restaurants and tourism. Everyone in the neighborhood is friendly and made us feel at home. Our dog made lots of friends with the neighborhood pups, especially Chris and Al's dog, Nellie. We're looking forward to going back to visit again.

Wonderful get-away with friends

Chris and Al have a greatVRBO in a beautiful and quiet cove on Wilson Lake. The home is wonderfully stocked with absolutely anything you might need and is extremely comfortable—great beds, great shower and spacious. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch and on the dock. Both had great views of the lake. Chris and Al live in the house next door and were responsive if we had questions or needed anything. Wonderful VRBO and a wonderful time was had by all! We will be back!

The Best!!!

All our VRBO experiences have been excellent. Our stay at Chris & Al's river home was BY FAR the BEST!!! The house was awesome; very clean, comfortable, very, very well supplied....(read the other reviews for more descriptions of this exceptional rental). However, it is the hosts, Chris & Al, that make it so exceptional. I felt downright pampered I was cared for so well. No wonder this VRBO stays booked. Thank you, Chris & Al, for a needed get-a-way that was perfect and more!

Chris and Al met in the Dallas, TX area, married and when we retired we moved back to Al's home (where his heart never left). We bought his grandmother's home and built another. We love to share that which we love so dearly.

This property is the perfect slice of heaven. Every season is picturesque in this lakeside community. Sunsets on the river can be breathtaking but there are also an abundance of stars at night, owls hooting, mocking birds, cardinals, deer grazing, cotton and corn fields, wildflowers, geese, ducks, egrets, eagles, hummingbirds, turtles, muskrat, fox, beaver, chipmunks, raccoons, armadillo....... it goes on and on. Ohhhh and the fishing is pretty darn awesome!

Just steps from the water. Come in by boat or by land. We offer kayaks with a signed waiver and we have some floats available for just lounging in the lake. Check with us about the possibility of a pontoon rental. Fish right off the pier. Relax on a hammock, grill your meals on the back porch on a propane grill or smoker. Enjoy toasting marshmallows at the chiminea. Did I mention that you are surrounded by history, whether you have an interest in barn quilts, Civil War, Indian sites, the Natchez Trace, locks and dams, Amish tours, Music history, University of Alabama or just the cute town of Florence, Alabama. It’s all here or not too far away!
