Born in India, Jeet moved to Vancouver, Canada at the age of seventeen.
With little knowledge of English Jeet spent most of his time at night school while working during the day in a sawmill.
After 6 years of study Jeet qualified as an airline pilot and was hired by Canadian Airlines International.
Jeet flew Douglas DC6, DC8,DC10, Boeing 737, 747 and 767 aircraft.
After retiring and because of his passion for flying Jeet specialised in the restoration of rare aircraft from world war 2
such as the Messerchmitt Komet and British Spitfires - many of these restored aircraft are now on display at the National Museum of USAF near Dayton, Ohio.
Jeet built Villa Tasha in Anguilla and now spends part of his time in his home town, Vancouver, Canada and the rest managing his villa in Anguilla.
