Nice lake condo

Nice, well maintained condo at Lake of the Ozarks. 5 minute drive to the Lodge of the Four Season (attended a conference). Near the condo complex’s pool, also well maintained with a good lake view. Recommend.

Weekend trip

We arrived on a Thursday evening and left on Sunday morning. The condo was clean and spacious, with 2 bedroom and queen beds, the beds were comfortable and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked but some of the skillets were old, the stove and oven worked but some of the burners were not level, which may be an issue if someone plans to cook.The decor was older but everything worked and was clean. I would stay here again.

Great Holiday Weekend

Property was in a great location for us. It was clean, but a little outdated and unfortunately the gas grill did not work correctly when we went to grill our steaks for dinner. I will bring to the attention of the property manager. Thanks for letting us rent your property!

Very nice condo, probably the nicest that I have stayed in at Southwood Shores. 2bed 2 bath was great. Condo was in a great location on the lake, back in a cove and right at lake level. Does require 2 sets of steps, about 25 in total, to get to the condo from the parking lot and vice versa. Freezer did not have an ice maker, so we bought additional ice cube trays (one large tray for 6 cubes was provided). Would stay there again-location was prime.

A few disappointments

Condo was very clean, and had anything you would need. However there a few things that somewhat spoiled the visit. First, there is a beautiful view of the lake from the bedroom that can’t be enjoyed because the blinds can’t be opened. The vertical blinds on the bedroom slider were almost paper thin. Next, the slider from the living room was extremely difficult to open. Appears to be completely wore out. Lastly, since the building is a wood structure, we could a lot of the movements of the folks overhead. They in no way were stomping around, just normal moving around. Probably would not rent here again

This condo is larger than most at the Lake. It is a place that I will want to spend more time at. Can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful view & golfing

Perfectly located to get to several must see destinations while there & plenty if golf courses. We were there with adults to celebrate birthdays. But I told my daughter about it b/c our grand boys would have a ball there...lots for kids to do!

We had a blast

Lovely area, beautiful view. The neighbors were friendly. The pool was still open outside! The grill helped with our amazing steaks. I would totally come here again.

Great getaway

We loved this place. Great for 2 couples. All of the amenities we needed for a 2 day trip. Not a lot of stairs going in which was nice! Very clean. We went Sunday through Tuesday so it was way more laid back than on the weekend which is very nice when on the lake. Lynda is very nice and responsive. Hope to rent this place again soon.

Lynda Brown-Poort is an experienced ambassador for investment property owners in the Lake Area. She has over 25 years of Property Management and Real Estate experience. While working in Property Management, Lynda began pursuing Real Estate in 2006. In 2012 she started her LLC, "Vacation Rentals in Lake of the Ozarks" along with Specializing in Lakefront Real Estate in beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. In 2017 she obtained her Missouri’s Broker’s License.

During her years in the property management industry, Lynda has held various positions since 1993, which includes Property Manager, Marketing Director, Area Leasing Trainer and Rental Director. After managing the On-site Rental Program at Southwood Shores Resort for 6 years she jumped at the opportunity to open her own management company when the homeowners association had no choice but to close down the onsite rentals.

Lynda’s diverse property management experience ranges from the operation of historic urban communities and high-rise downtown Dallas developments to an established Lake of the Ozarks community. Lynda was instrumental in the development of VRLOZ.COM (Vacation Rentals in Lake of the Ozarks) onsite policies and procedures in the intricate business of condominium resorts.

Originally from Texas, Lynda and her two children relocated to the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks in 2006 to be near family. She currently resides in Lake Ozark with her husband David Poort who is an avid fisherman and also an active Realtor in the Lake Area.
