Truly Awesome

Your home was truly amazing my family had the best time. Location was so convenient with the golf cart we loved being able to go to the grocery store in a golf cart. Everything was so clean and decorated so nice. This was one of best vacation ever.

We found a great home away from home feeling here. Our family found the place to be above our expectations and exceptionally clean. The community is friendly and secure. The area outside the gates is going through road construction but there are so many shops and stores it is worth the delay. The area is great for a variety of food choices too. We hope to find this property available next time we visit this area.

Family Vacation trip to Destin

This is our first time staying in the Sandestine Resort and we will definitely be back! The house worked out great even with 7 of us staying in the 3 bedroom. It was clean and decorated nicely with all the necessities. They had great little welcome boxes with starter packs of your needed items in the bathrooms and kitchen. I would recommend this house and location with no hesitation. The golf cart was a definite added bonus and works great!

Close to everything

We enjoyed our week in Sandestin. It was so nice to not have to pack the kids up in the car every time we wanted to go somewhere. The home was as pictured, and the property management company was very responsive and on top of things. The patio table was broken upon our arrival, but they were there fixing it before we even mentioned anything. The only thing I will say, and this isn’t to the fault of the home owners, but the beach access is used by the entire resort and on each side are hotels that have tons of chairs set up for people to rent.. which really limits the space for everyone else. But all in all we enjoyed our week and the home was great!

Great spot for a long weekend with friends

Celebrated a birthday weekend with friends. Setup was as described. Good sized rooms with plenty of storage for all out stuff. Spent most time in the kitchen/family space which was great for entertaining. Kitchen was missing some essential utensils but we made due. Tried to communicate with the owner prior to rental with no response. But we got plenty of info before the trip from the property management. It was a short 1.5 mile walk or golf cart ride to the beach — which was packed. Delivery to the location was limited but there are several local places that did deliver when we ordered in. Outdoor space was lovely.

Yearly family vacation

Our stay in Sandestin was perfect for our family, with the house ideally located near tennis courts, golf courses, and the beach. Everyone was able to enjoy their favorite daytime activities, from relaxing by the ocean to playing a few rounds of golf. In the evenings, we loved coming together to share meals and make memories in the comfortable, well-appointed home.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this little cottage. The beds were SUPER comfortable and so were the couches. Dish ware was adorable and it had all of the necessary kitchen amenities. Only thing we could complain about was that the master bathroom sink wouldn't drain. That should be an easy fix for a maintenance guy though! The outdoor patio was a great hang, it even had beach toys for our girls which was great because we forgot ours!

Perfect location!

We absolutely loved this property and the location. It is perfect for families! So much to do and so many places to visit just within the resort. The golf cart was an essential asset for our visit allowing us to go everywhere we wanted. Access to the beach, stores, pools, restaurants and even publix made this stay even better. We did have an issue with the listing description. The VRBO listing stated the extra bedroom had 2 king beds which was going to work perfect the group we had, however there was only 1 king bed. We had to have one of our guests sleep on the couch. The owners rectified it by providing some compensation for our stay which we appreciated. Some cons to our visit, but nothing that ruined our vacation. The first one is that even though the cleaning people were done cleaning the unit you cannot get into the property until exactly 4 oclock. The rental company cannot over ride this either, so we sat outside with groceries for about an hour waiting for the code to be activated to get in. And secondly, the pans for cooking for 8 are not large enough. Not a huge deal, but inconvenient making you have to cook only a small amount at a time. Overall our stay was wonderful and we would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home!

good vacation home

The only real negative thing i would say is the floors were really dirty. we ended up going to walmart and getting a mop and swiffer and wiping the whole house. it was dirty. I had my 1 year old who is crawling everywhere so it was a must. didnt deliver the request.

Great Family Stay

We loved our stay here. There was plenty of space for people to spread out and have quiet time if they wanted and a great large dining table for playing board games. The back yard was comfy and big enough for the kids to play catch or pass a soccer ball. The location was very convenient (five minutes in the golf cart, if that, to get to the beach or Baytowne) and quiet. Speaking of the golf cart- so wonderful to have! If we ever wind up back in Sandestin we'll definitely look into staying here again.

Perfect for two small families

The property and location was great! Beautiful and well kept. The golf cart was a huge plus since the weather didn't want to cooperate. We spent more time just crusing around the area. Would definitely come back.
