Thank you for your feedback. I’m so sorry for the inconvenience with the toilet paper and paper towels. We do our best to stock extra supplies in the cabinet whenever possible, but since we’re not always on-site, the cleaning company provides a starter kit with four rolls of toilet paper for the property. Had I known you needed more, I would have been happy to arrange for additional supplies to be brought out. Regarding the hot tub, I sincerely apologize for any concerns. Please know that it is drained, cleaned, and refilled after every guest’s stay to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. I’m glad to hear you found the beds comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped! I appreciate your comments and will use them to continue improving the guest experience.

Thanks for your feedback. Our cabin is exactly as described and pictured — a peaceful mountain getaway surrounded by trees for privacy. Guests looking for a sweeping mountain view would need to book a property advertised with one. The deck cushions are stored under the couch to keep them clean and dry, as noted in our welcome instructions. The hot tub is drained, sanitized, and refilled after every stay; its temperature can be adjusted at any time using the control panel. We pride ourselves on providing clear, accurate photos and descriptions, including the pool table style, grill location, and layout of all spaces, so there are no surprises. We’re sorry if these features didn’t match your personal preferences, but many guests appreciate the thoughtful setup and amenities provided.

Midway through your stayed, you sent me a message that your other 2 Guests and their pets are no longer coming and complained that the corners and walls of the Cabin looks dusty and you found an extra blanket in the basement cabinet smelled and couch looks dirty. I offered to send cleaners back out fix those issues or refunds you to a different accommodations . But you didn’t want neither of those options. You wanted to stay at the property as is. We agreed to make a courtesy adjustment to your reservation to reimburse you for the guests and pets that didn’t come. But credit card company can take up to 7 business days to process refunds, that’s general for anywhere- even at groceries stores. Before checking out, You sent me a message demanding that I “compensate” you for the dirty things mentioned. We do not refunds for minor cleanliness that we have offered to fix during your stay. You sent me multi messages over the course of 48 hours of your checkout with threats , including negative reviews post, bargaining of refunds. While our goal in hosting is to keep all our Guests happy with their stays. It seems like there isn’t anything else we could’ve offer to make you happy. We wish you the best in any future stays.

Hi Andrea, Thank you for taking your time to write us a review. During your stay, storm Elliot, the worse freezing storm in decades hit the area. This particular cabin was fortunate enough to not lose electricity during the whole storm while thousands of properties have no electricity and water for weeks. The only reason our heat couldn’t keep up was because it was -20 degrees outdoor, the majority of homes in the state of Tennessee was having this problem, including our home in East Tennessee . Partly through your stayed, it was so cold that the cabins’ community water system froze and I’ve explained to you that it had nothing to do with the individual pipes in the cabin. This is a share water filtration that is in a separate building sharing among many cabins. You contacted us as soon as there was no water. We sympathize the situation, but it is not within our control to get water to such big water system with weather being -20 degrees . We offered to adjust the reservation and a full refunds of days not stayed ,so you could find another accommodation. We didn’t want this to be any inconvenience for you. However, instead, you wanted to stay at the property and get partial refunds . Upon your checkout, we even send money for purchases of drinking water and other items. You’ve never mentioned any cleanliness issues during your stayed through many messages that you sent us for compensations due to the weather. The property were to be sweep, mopped, hot tub were to be drained and cleaned, linens and towels were to be refurnished and changed after every Guests stayed, etc. We take pride in providing great stays for our Guests, at least the cleanliness as it’s something we can control, unlike the storm. We would have been happy to send Cleaners back out if you weren’t happy with the cleanliness of the property. Again, We are sorry for this unfortunate event. I hope you would give us an opportunity if you are ever back in the area .
