The cabin is clean and cozy, located next to a river with gorgeous views, and we enjoyed being able to grill outdoors and cook comfort foods indoor.

Very cozy cabin, with lots and lots of clever and creative design features. Bed was very comfortable, towels were soft and plentiful. In addition, this VRBO property was the best-stocked place we've ever stayed in: They had a huge inventory of toiletries, they had snacks and chips, and they had all the basics (coffee, oil, dressings, etc.) in the kitchen. All in all, this is just a lovely place to stay.

Sweet little getaway

The location of the property is beautiful. We appreciated the host sharing her bounty of spaghetti squash with us. My mom passed last month and we wanted somewhere quiet and peaceful to rest and reflect, this is a perfect spot to achieve that.Cabin was clean on the inside with the exception of some outdated food items left behind in the fridge and in the kitchen. The outside porch and porch chairs could stand some serious cleaning. We did not feel comfortable sitting on the porch as all the chairs were dirty and covered with cobwebs and debris. It is rustic so we kind of expect some dustiness on outside furniture, but not to the extent that it was. Our dog loved playing in the river and the ease of access to the river. Great hikes within a short drive made this a great location too!

Great place to unplug!

I work a lot! and being able to completely unplug was exactly what I needed. Ending up reading two whole books while we were there. So secluded and away from others. Perfect spot!

Always Amazing

Third time’s the charm—again!We absolutely love the Honey Badger Ranch. This was our third stay, and just like every time, it was pure magic. The last time we visited was back in 2021 during COVID, and being back around the same time this year to celebrate my husband’s birthday brought back all those peaceful, healing vibes.It’s been a rough year for us, but this place always gives us exactly what we need—tranquility, beauty, and a space to completely unplug from life’s chaos (while still having Wi-Fi—thank you!—so we can check in on our kids when needed).Walking right down to the river and having it all to yourself? Unreal. Every time we explore a new direction and fall even more in love with the surrounding nature. This time we were lucky enough to visit the horse and goats too, which was such a sweet bonus. And our dog Hawni was in absolute heaven running by the river!Thank you, Keri and Pat for being such incredible hosts. Your place continues to be one of our favorite escapes. We’re already dreaming of coming back—hopefully this summer, but if not, we’ll definitely be back next year.10/10. Actually, 100/10!

Hunters' Cabin

This cabin was perfect for our hunting trip. My brother and I were able to take off to the hills to go hunting every day without having to make a long drive, yet we were close enough to town to run in for dinner. The kitchen accommodated the few simple meals we chose to prepare ourselves, and there was even a bbq for steaks.

Excellent experience

Keri was very inviting and friendly when we arrived. There was plenty of room for my son and I. It was a nice and peaceful, along with everyone in Powers was welcoming. Thank you for a great place to start our week roadtrip from California through Oregon.

Honey Badger Ranch was purchased by three friends as a "guys getaway" space. We have remodeled the 1970's cabin so others can enjoy the Southwestern Oregon beauty and rural life.

The property was purchased for the owners to enjoy a get away location that was not too far from home. Powers was also one of the owner's home town. When looking at the property it was a "Diamond in the Rough" and we all could see the wonderful times that could be had on the river with family and friends.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Cabin is less than 100 feet from the South Fork of the Coquille river. There is a large gravel/sandbar for lounging and wading in the river. The river has gold if you are willing to work for it. No t.v. in cabin so you can totally unplug and relax. Town is right down the road so you can pick up anything you may have forgotten for your trip.
