This is a beautiful property. The unit is a little outdated, and there could have been a few more supplies provided, but we had what we absolutely needed and the beds were very comfortable! It was quiet and just like it says, a few steps from a pretty nice beach. The check in process was a little frustrating, we weren’t provided a gate code and had to wait for about half hour to get that from someone. Also there is a code to the beach which we weren’t told about. We had to ask another guest for that code. We would stay here again though.

What a great time! We loved the perfect location of the unit! We walked to the beach and felt like we had privacy because we were the last unit on our side and no one walked by our unit. We ate breakfast and dinner on the patio, it was perfect seeing the sunrise and the sunset. We already miss it!

Fantastic find in Maui!

We stayed for a week here, and it was amazing. The property’s location could not be better. The view from the living room is so picturesque and literally steps from the beach which never got super crowded. The unit is well equipped with beach chairs, sand toys, and even a cooler and umbrellas. The unit itself is clearly well cared for, and tastefully decorated. There were some nice surprises like provided laundry detergent and dryer sheets, a good array of spices and pantry basics like oil, plus plenty of coffee, extra toilet paper and tissues, and really nice soap products. The AC works beautifully, the beds are comfortable, and again- the location could not have been better. This will be my go-to location for Maui stays in the future!I also appreciated the responsiveness of the management company and their willingness to try and get us an early check in as soon as we landed on the island. The only update I could really recommend to the management company is the master shower/tub combo which is pretty outdated and slightly difficult to get in/out of due to the deep tub and wide surround. Nonetheless, it more than met our needs!Sidenote: the view from our beach of the grand wailea 4th of July fireworks was spectacular!

A dream!

This property was amazing - the rooms were spacious and the units had everything we needed for our vacation. Being steps from the beach and steps from the pool while being in walking distance of all the other resorts and restaurants was perfect!

Daughter’s Wedding

We came to Maui for our daughter’s wedding on the beach. The location was amazing! So close to the beach and the pool views were great! The place was perfect for our family! Great views to get ready for the wedding! We loved the privacy and the convenience of being on the bottom floor. We’d definitely come back and stay here again!

Amazing location!

We absolutely loved Polo beach club. The location was unbeatable on the best beach in Maui, I loved doing the ocean walk every morning. We loved surfing the waves out front and even saw turtles swimming around the beach. The apartment was so spacious and beautiful, our family of 5 were so happy there. Would def highly recommend!

Great location

The Polo Beach Club is hard to beat for places to stay on Maui. This unit could really use some time and attention. There was a cabinet door missing in the kitchen, master bathroom bath jets were black from lack of cleaning, couch is well worn, dresser in the secondary bedroom is broken, refrigerator drawers continued to come off track. Just many things that could be improved to make this an exceptional experience. The great things about this unit were the ground floor accessibility, well stocked with beach chairs, toys, spices, shower amenities, updated decor and extremely easy check in and out process.

Excellent Location and Helpful Management

The place was exactly what we were looking for - had good parking, amazing beach access, and everything we needed was in the unit. Bedrooms and bathrooms were good sized and the lanai was private, but both it and the LR had a view of the ocean and we could walk straight out to it. The check in materials were a little clunky in that the emails, texts, and guide in the unit don't quite match up in content, but we were able to get in fine and this is normal with 3rd party managed units. I will say the management was very accommodating when we called about an item we had left in the unit - an expensive astronomy gizmo - and they contacted housekeeping, found it, and promptly mailed it to us. Thank you!!

Family Friendly

Overall, the Polo Beach club provided the lux location and amenities. Our stay fulfilled our desired getaway checklist of items. The lux location, privacy, security, upscale beach access and overall quality. The private location, the superb access from car to unit to beach/pool and the pristine building condition and superb landscaped grounds. Now about the unit 109. On the shady side of the building, so the unit is always dark unless you turn on the lights. The condition, given the history of being constantly renter, was as clean and comfortable as possible. I agree with several of the prior renter comments, but at the right daily rental rate, the value would be worth repeating my experience in this unit 109. My sister paid a premium and rented unit 305 with an ocean front location and 180 degree views. Overall, I want to thank the KBM management company for their professional and on-demand helpfulness. Blessed with the joy of experiencing the joy of an extended vacation with this unit 109 as our base of operation. Five of five "Ono's" to the owner and KBM !!!!!

Great Location! Quiet Neighbours! Needs Updating.

The check-in process was extremely easy, the unit is clean and the location right on Polo Beach cannot be beat. Sleeps 4 very comfortably and there is tons of space. The only downside is that the unit needs to be renovated, there is broken mirror which needs to be replaced and there are some accessibility issues with the bath/shower in the master. There is no way an elderly person could access the shower in the master bath. It is actually a little dangerous for anyone. Also, why do all of these older condos in Hawaii have carpet? It really doesn’t make sense with the humidity and sand ever present. Overall, the unit is great but needs an update.

Great location, easy and smooth rental process

This is a great location with private beach access, pool if you prefer that. The property grounds are well kept and the unit has a well appointed kitchen and supplies, as well as beach supplies. Check in and check out were a breeze. The interior of this unit is not updated like many of the units in the building so if you want an updated interior that may be an issue for you. But we didn’t experience any of the issues cited in previous reviews and the one issue we had with a shade coming down was addressed right away, and then we didn’t touch after that to make sure it stayed in place. The KBM staff was very responsive to our questions over email and on site as well. For the price, location and all that comes with it you really can’t beat it!!

WAY Past it’s prime

We needed a two day stay at the last minute on Maui due to a medical situation. The manager was very helpful and kind and allowed us to check in early when we had to be out of our other unit which was extremely helpful. The unit however is very dated many things don’t work it’s dark and unappealing. The master bath and shower would be impossible to get into if you were older. Damage from prior leaks show and the bath smells badly. There are just to many repairs needed to list. We have stayed at polo beach at least 8 previous times this was the worst unit ever and not cheap at over 900 a night. Thankfully we only needed two nights because longer would have been to depressing! Sorry wish I could be more positive.

Exceeded our expectations. We will be back. The building layout is brilliant, providing each unit an ocean view. The kitchen and main living area made us feel at home. Staff on and off property were wonderful.

We really enjoyed our stay overall. Great location and unit has everything for a pleasurable experience. The place hasn’t been maintained very well — the roller shades are hit and miss for staying up and one of the bedroom ceiling fans kept me up because it “clicked and thudded”. Other than minor annoyances, it was a good stay.

A Hidden Gem

This property is exactly what our family wanted for a Maui base. Especially appreciate being literally on a public (yet seemed private), never crowded beach. Walkable to world class resorts for great meals also huge plus. I will definitely stay here again if I can make it back to Maui.

A Great Getaway

This property was right on the beautiful Polo Beach! The condo was equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas and water toys. I liked the convenience of being on the bottom floor. The Fairmont was right next door and my daughters went over there for a few lunches and we had dinner at the Ko Restaurant. (the dinner was amazing!) We had a private guide pick us up on Polo Beach for snorkeling and a canoe/sailboat ride. We rented a car and drove to several places. The Wailea area was in close proximity to many fabulous places. The check in and check out was very easy and the management team was always very helpful and responded quickly. I would definitely stay here again!

Planning a return trip!!

The pictures online didn’t do it justice for location!! You can sit in the kitchen or living room and easily view the ocean. Open the sliding doors and all you’ll hear is the ocean and breeze. My family is already planning a return trip!!! The beach is private and amazing. The property is very clean and quiet. Inside the condo, our only wish was a drying rack. Some usual wear and tear on the place but we didn’t want for anything!! Onsite property managers were super nice and helpful. 5 minutes from shopping and 5 minutes to golf!! Huge hit with the kids.

Great stay at Polo Beach Club

Great spot - good condos.. all the same... what I don’t like is that it seems like a partial retirement home. No playing catch on the sprawling lawn because one resident doesn’t want to see it? No. They need to decide if the want to be part of the rental pool and make money from their unused overpriced properties or be a place where old ladies come out and wave rule sheets in your face for having a sponge ball in the pool. I get it - I’m not going to throw a bachelor partu there... but ease up a bit, or close the window if you don’t like to hear people having fun.
