Casita charm

Beautiful city view in a lovely neighborhood…we loved our stay. The place was nicely decorated with a comfortable bed and a good shower. While it was too chilly to use the pretty balcony, we enjoyed the sunlight streaming in the floor to ceiling windows. There were good kitchen, laundry, and cleaning supplies. We loved it.

Great property

We stayed in this property for two weeks. It had everything we needed and was very nicely furnished. We would definitely stay here again. The view from the balcony was lovely.

Second Stay, just as wonderful!

We stayed here two years ago and absolutely loved it. Our second stay was perfect. The casita has had some nice updates as well. Couldn’t recommend the Mission Hills casita more! It’s a true home away from home, and close to all the best Tucson shopping, dining and hiking.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay! The location, view of mountains & city were beautiful. The place offered us a peaceful retreat. Lovely area and very safe. The bed was very comfortable and amenities were very acceptable. The host was communicative and accommodating . I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Maria for a lovely stay!

Great Value, Great location, Great Stay

My husband and I stayed here for a week and very much enjoyed ourselves. The unit was very clean, excellent amenities and the bed was very comfortable. The best part was the patio and view. Maria was very accommodating. It exceeded all our expectations. Highly recommend.

Great location

This is our second time staying at Maria's casita. It's a great location to everything we wanted to see and do. Very cozy & clean. Bed is very comfortable. Love the deck. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets from there. Highly recommend. Would definitely come back again.

Vacation Bliss

Property is on one of Tucson's most exclusive country clubs at the base of the Catalina Mtns.Hiking trails nearby,exquisite views of city at night and quiet.The snowfall on 13 Mar was a great bonus.The amenities in the Casita were excellent and we can't wait to reserve it again.Exceeded our expectations.

Fantastic Views

Great location in a gated community. Great city views, especially at night. Very comfortable place. Good size bathroom. Kitchen is small, but space is optimized. It has a dishwasher. The close washer and drier are a great plus if you are here for more than a few nights. I woild stay here again.

Fabulous View!

The view is incredible over the city of Tucson. Maria's place is very quiet and very clean. The furniture on the balcony is so comfortable. Maria was very accommodating when we had to change our dates twice. Thank you!

The owner canceled stay

The owner canceled the stay and we were notified on the day of stay. I also have not gotten reimbursement from VRBO. I am not happy with VRBO.

Wonderful Casita with Stunning City Views

My husband and I rented the Blue Moon Casita for our annual Christmas trip. We couldn't have been happier. The casita was sparkling clean and had all the amenities we needed (small kitchen with dishes, plush towels, washer/dryer, etc.). Having coffee on the patio was serene and exactly what a relaxing vacation needs. The neighborhood is phenomenal with mountain views in all directions, and sparkling city lights at night. The walking paths are great, just be sure to know the tee time so you're not on the paths while golfers are playing. I would absolutely recommend staying here. We hope to back!

Perfect rental for comfort in an excellent location

The casita had a large comfortable large studio room with an outstanding view of Tucson and the surrounding mountains. Located in the Skyline Country club and Estates in the Catalina Foothills, the curved large front Windows offered an 180 degree view of the area. The bath was large and We'll stocked with towels,body wash and shampoo for guests. The small walk through kitchen had an electric stove ,fridge, and dishwasher. It was well equipped. Finally, the utility are had a stackable washer/dryer plus a ward robe closet with lots of hangers.

Perfect respite from the cold

This property was perfection for us. It is small but so nicely laid out that it felt larger than it was. It is immaculately clean and pristine. The finishes and furnishings were top quality. The bed was comfortable with a high quality mattress and lovely linens. The bathroom is large and for us bath lovers - has a lovely porcelain tub. The shower was strong and we never ran out of hot water. The room I felt was most useful was a small laundry area with a large closet. The main garbage container is located there. It has plenty of room to store luggage. Maria has, as others have noted, thought of absolutely everything a household may need. In addition to the practicalities, the house has that extra little magic that makes one think “Ahhhh, I love this” upon arrival. The broad sweep of window overlooking the surrounding desert and city below is breath-taking. The front balcony extends the width of the unit and is beautifully furnished with comfortable furniture providing a perfect spot for enjoying the soft Arizona air and cheerful sunshine! We LOVED it here!

Reasonably nice, though a tad old

Reasonably nice property for price. Was a tad old, appliances seemed circa 1980’s or 90’s. Was not a problem for us put some might need more than tiny kitchen with old appliances. Garbage disposal didn’t work as example. The TV did not have much in the way of live TV, seemed to be a cut down streaming service. Again a problem if you wanted to watch your favorite news channel. Location is good, and as a place to sleep and have coffee in morning reasonably good bargain, A very minor point is they could have coffee mugs, the coffee cups were standard size traditional coffee cups which means small, maybe 6 Oz. Needed two or three refills to match a mug. Again not fatal but bothersome. The unit was otherwise quite well furnished with supplies and utensils.

Beautiful views

Nice property, with beautiful views of Tucson through the huge south facing window. Very comfy, with all the amenities as advertised. Great Resturant’s nearby, and if you like the outdoors, easy trail access nearby as well

Glorious views

A spacious studio with an elegant South Western vibe and glorious view. Witnessing the pre sunrise glow behind the mountains, sunrise , sunset and then lively lights of Tucson at night was a spectacular display, the beauty of Tucson! We loved how the apartment layout allows for privacy too.

A view remember

Great location with possibly the best views in Tucson...day and night.Studio was all we expected and more. Had everything we needed .very clean and well appointed. Nighttime on the patio was something to look forward to,and will live long in the memory. Hope to do it again sometime. Oliver
