Great adult unit

This is a modern unit with two bedrooms. It was a great place, close to pool, bbq, beqch, shopping, but far enough that it's not noisy. We thought it was two view bedrooms but the 2nd room faces foliage and the parking. It was still lovely, comfortable, and we would stay again.

Awesome condo

We stayed here over spring break with our 3 kids. The condo was super clean and beyond well stocked. It was in a great location with a short walk to the beach and even had everything you needed to enjoy your time at the beach. I would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Beautiful proerty with everything we needed

We really enjoyed this property during our family vacation, which had everything we needed: a well-stocked kitchen and laundry, plenty of towels and bedding, and lots of fun beach toys! The views from the master bedroom and lanai are the standout feature of this property. We also enjoyed the birds and chickens on the lawn below. Who knew we would get the natural alarm clocks of roosters every day? The grounds are very well kept and we used a few of the amenities: the pool and tennis courts. (Note that it is $5 to rent an adult tennis racquet; kids' racquets are free.) We loved the location, with a great beach directly across the street (including a lifeguard). It has fabulous sunset views! There are several restaurants and shopping along the main street, including rentals for just about anything you want. The water was calm in the morning--perfect for paddleboards, and windy in the afternoon which made for some fun waves. If you get up early enough around 6 am, and walk west along the beach, there is an area further up where you can see turtles on the beach. Thank you for a wonderful experience, we would definitely come again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would give it 5 stars if it wasn’t by the fact that there were portable air conditioners only on the 2 bedrooms. My son was sleeping in the sofa bed in the living room and could hardly sleep due to the heat, despite of many fans. The location was excellent! The beach is across the street and is really nice. Also close to restaurants, just walking distance. The pool was amazing, with warm water and also has a jacuzzi. The condo is well equipped with pretty much everything you will need. Plenty of towels and beach accessories. It has a great lanai as well. The parking is also very convenient, with assigned parking. Check in and out were easy. I will definitely stay here again, although will ask if there is a 3rd portable air conditioner.

I didn’t know that there were only portable air conditioners, only in the bedrooms. My son was sleeping in a sofa bed without any air and even with fans on he could hardly sleep with the heat, even in April. Otherwise, the condo is in prime location. The beach is just across the street, we saw turtles there, basking in the sun. I would definitely stay here again, although I would ask if another air conditioning unit can be added.

A wonderful place to stay

The location is right across from Kam III so an easy walk to the beach, shopping snd restaurants. We also used the Maui bus this time which was easy to use and there is a bus stop close by. The BBQ’s are well maintained and the view of the ocean is perfect. We were able to watch whales from our lanai. Our only “complaint” would be that the fountains are beautiful but quite loud. We looked forward to 9:01 when they turned off. The condo was great. The building is closest to the beach and yet not far from the pool. The lanai had great furniture for relaxing and also a ceiling fan to keep cool. The kitchen was well equipped (except could have used better BBQ tools). The view from the master bedroom looks like a painting. We found the A/C units in the bedrooms quite loud so used only the ceiling fans which worked well. A closet contained all the beach equipment we needed. There was extra bedding and towels as well as a washer/dryer unit. I had contact with PMI prior to our vacation and they answered all my questions quickly. They were great to deal with and I would definitely rent with them and stay in this condo again. We had a wonderful experience and amazing vacation in paradise.

Location excellent - AC Units very noisy.

The condo was conveniently located across the road from one of the nicest beach/parks in the area (Kihea - Kamaole Beach Park III). There is also a good pool and gym on site. The condo and particularly the kitchen was v well equipped and clean (props to the cleaning crew). However the AC System was not Central Air. For us, the two units (one for each bedroom) were extremely noisy making sleeping difficult. In cooler months of the year, this may be less of an issue or a non-issue should AC not be required at all.

Maui get away

This was the first time using VRBO out of state. Everything worked very smoothly. The condo is in the best location possible. The beach is across the street, you can walk to restaurants and stores or relax by the pool. The property manager was very responsive to our needs. Thank you!!

Kamaole Sands Beach view

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: KS 10-215 is a nice 2nd floor unit with a great view of Kam 3 Beach and nice sunset views (thru the trees that line the beachfront park). Since it's in the building closest to the street, the walk to the beach is effortless. The finishes in the unit are adequately maintained and look to have been updated a few years back. It was clean and well equipped. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 (incl 2 teens and 8yo). The AC is a mobile unit in each bedroom, so we were thankful for the strong breeze that came thru the unit on most days. (said breezy weather also caused us to seek better snorkel conditions elsewhere). Overall, good experience with the rental agency and the unit. Would recommend.

Great location!

We were happy with the accommodations. The location was perfect for us; across the street from a beautiful beach and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. We like this area of the island because it isn't as congested and touristy as Lahaina and Kaanapali. Makena Beach was one of our favorites and only a short drive away. Our only disappointments were 1) the pots and pans for cooking because there wasn't an actual skillet and everything stuck to the pans that were provided even with using oil and butter, and 2) the bed in the master bedroom was not very comfortable because it was firm and felt springy. Even with those shortcomings, we would definitely consider staying here again because we loved the location so much!
