Peaceful and Beautiful

This cabin was such a great weekend getaway. It’s kept very clean and tidy, including the hot tub, which was an awesome bonus for chill time out on the serene deck. This cabin is well stocked with all the little things you need, and the bedrooms are comfortable and cozy. Would definitely stay again!

It was really nice and clean and was an excellent for a quiet get away

It was nice, it took us a minute to get to the back, and the garbage outside on the road Was already full, we believe it was the garbage. An amazing place to stay over all would definitely rent again

Property is clean, check in was easy, the goat trail to the property was not mentioned, had to move trees off the trail on the way out. Parking is not optimal. If you had a trailer you would be backing alll the way out.

Great Cabin

We had a great stay at the cabin. There was lots of bedrooms for 5 adults and 2 kids. The deck was awesome for enjoying meals on. We were there during hot weather and the cabin still stayed cool with the air conditioner in the loft bedroom running. The drive up is full of switch backs, so people with car sickness might not enjoy that. Our only complaint is that the cleaning person showed up 30 minutes before check out time and started setting all of her cleaning supplies up so we felt very rushed as we finished packing up our vehicles. But we would definitely stay again!

Awesome experience

This is a very out of the way cabin that was very well maintained and clean. It was surprising how far out of the way but the quiet and nature was so wonderful. The host attention to their guests was immediate, friendly and welcoming. We had things that needed done and their response was timely and it felt like we were just part of the family. We could not have asked for better hosts and they were always available if needed. They treated us with gifts during our stay and making our holiday time so special. We highly recommend working with this group and hope to return one day again. The house is way up the mountain so we may try one of their other properties closer to the lake since we brought a boat with us. If your looking for peace, quiet and retreat this is your place. They have all the stuff you will need and the extra baby items like play pen, gate, and high chair were a great bonus. A special thank you to the hosts for being so great.

Secluded cabin on the mountain

My friends and I had a wonderful time at this lovely cabin in the woods! The place was a bit hard to find (lots of switchbacks and we got turned around a few times) but Adell was easy to contact and very helpful. The drive up is well worth it for the quiet and privacy. We enjoyed going to the beach during the day and watching the stars at night. We would love to be back again one day 😊

Our stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Exactly what we needed. Would have liked a door on the loft bedroom, more curtains, and a light in the bathroom downstairs. Those things aside, I/we would stay there again. Simple check in, nice welcome gift, and owner/property manager were very friendly. Thanks again!

We won’t rent here again

Cabin is very high up the mountain, the directions were not clear. There’s a gravel road with huge pot holes to get to the cabin, one time the neighbour blocked the road saying it was private property. He let us go by but the interaction left us feeling uneasy. It would be much simpler if the owner would build a driveway like the other cabins surrounding it. There were items missing in the cabin that were supposed to be included. (Aluminum foil, oil for cooking and a cork screw to name a few.) The cabin needs a bit of TLC. The deck could use some work, many of us got slivers from it daily. The view could be nice but the trees are so tall that you can barely see the lake. Once again, needs some TLC. We could have over looked all of these things if it wasn’t for the fact that the owner first blamed us for taking 3 towels which we didn’t, and then blamed us for ruining her fake leather couch. The couch was very used and black pieces of plastic were peeling off. She told us that was our fault and kept the damage deposit. We feel taken advantage of. We’ve been coming to Shuswap for over 35 years and we love the lake, but we will never rent from her again.

I am a mother of 4 beautiful children and have a wonderful family. My hubby and I own and operate 3 vacation rentals as well as manage Vacation Rentals in the North Shuswap. Our love for this area of the Shuswap drew us to it and kept us coming back, as it felt like home to our family. We spent the next few years renting out our home and our love for the rental business drew us to investing into it more and expanding our Vacation home inventory! We have so much passion for the Vacation Rental business and love even more when we can make our guests feel at home and have an amazing holiday!!

If it's privacy you are looking for...this is definetly it! This Cabin offers enough space for a large group where you can be secluded from everything, yet only minutes from all the fun the Shuswap brings! It's only a 5 min drive down to one of the most beautiful Lakes around...Shuswap Lake! We have room for extra holiday trailers with power and water hook-up, sled trailers or boats. Lots of room for parking extra vehicles as well. We take great care in making sure our Cabins are thouroghly cleaned and maintained between rentals and that our guests are well stocked with everything they may need for a convenient and comfortable stay. We hope to try make everyone’s vacation leaving them feeling rejuvenated and happy!
