Awesome Girls Weekend

This is a beautiful house with lots of room, an amazing view and attention to details to make you feel welcomed. From the welcome basket with smores ingredients, the fruit bowl that included lemons and limes, the amazing coffee bars, the entertainment areas for kids of all ages to the comfortable beds after all the fun of the day. This home has it all! The host was very communicative. Location is close to lots of things to see and do. Overall, a great experience!

Lake Huron Home

The Sunrise Lake House was a wonderful place for our family of 3 generations to vacation together. The property is exactly as described. I highly recommend it. I hope to be able to visit again some day.

Best getaway

Absolutely loved loved the property. It was much better than expected and even better than the photos. Perfect location, excellent hospitality! We loved the little touches and also the property was super clean!

This was our second summer renting this home and it refuses to disappoint ! One of the easiest walkout to the beach setups you will find along the shore of Lake Huron.

Heaven on earth!!!

This property is stunning!! Every possible amenity is provided!! Beds are extremely comfortable!!! Tons of rafts, lawn games, kayak,paddle boards, life jackets, toys... The property is very well kept and the grounds are STUNNING!! We loved our stay and found the owner to be a pleasure to deal with!! She was responsive to every request promptly and graciously!!! Best vacation site!!! I highly reccommend this property!!!!!

House with all the perks

The host takes particular care to make you feel pampered...stocked coffee bar, snacks, firewood for smores making and all the water toys you could hope fir. We loved paddle boarding and soaking up the sun while listening to the waves.

Wonderful week with family

We had a wonderful time watching the sun come up every morning, playing in the sand with our two grandchildren, making s’mores at night in the fire pit. The home is beautiful with lots of puzzles, games, and toys for the little fellas. Jinar is a great host that takes care of you. We loved everything about our stay. Thank you Jinar

Perfect place for a family trip

The well appointed house is perfect for a multi-generational family trip. The view is spectacular and the house is larger than photos suggest. The house had everything we needed for cooking and beach time - many chairs and towels and kids toys. There are 2 tables outside that each seat six so if you have a larger group of adults you can all eat together if you push them together. Everything was clean and there was plenty of extra towels, bedding, and toiletries we didn't need anything. The little supermarket across the street has just about everything you need - deli counter, produce, alcohol, bakery.

Breathtaking Property!

This property was out of this world! Very beautifully decorated in each and every room, and so many thoughtful touches, from the basket of goodies, to the bottle of Proseco, to the endless coffee choices and supplies. Mattress comfort is always a make it or break it for me, and the beds were by far the best of any rental/hotel room anywhere. EVER! The beach setting is perfect, and with all the provided water toys, you really don't even need to leave the property to have loads of fun. This is without a doubt my favorite rental, and me and my friends hope to return next year for our annual getaway!

Beautiful Lake House

Beautiful property and the property manager is great to work with. The house has everything imaginable and more. Having the opportunity to stay here is one of the highlights of our annual vacation.

Extended Family Lake House Weekend

10 of us - 6 adults and 4 teens had a wonderful long weekend at this lake house. The view is amazing, the house was beautiful and close to town and Lexington. The host is very helpful and there was great communication. So many things for the kids and adults to do while at the house. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay again !

Peace of Mind

This our 4th lake house rental along Lake Huron and this one takes the cake ! This property had everything our family of 10 needed. Plenty of things to do for our rainy day including games and puzzles. Every bed was comfortable, the linens were high quality and new. You don’t need to bring beach towels. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and dishes for adults and kids. The property is exactly as described. Plenty of beach toys and chairs for a large family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you to our host Jinar for the best communication ❤️

Fabulous rental

In the area for a family wedding, and while only three adults (including grandparents) stayed at the location, several family members stopped by to visit. All were impressed with our accommodations compared to theirs. Jinar are couldn’t have been more helpful throughout the rental process. The house was spotless, linens were top notch, so many useful items available in kitchen, and the toys available for kids in lower level - amazing. Wonderful fire pit area, and amazing view of the lake from deck and bedrooms. Already figuring out another visit with friends! Small grocery store with all kinds of surprising items right across the highway. You won’t regret your stay here.

Summer Family Get-Away

We had an amazing time at this property. Rain or shine, the views were amazing. The fire pit is a perfect way to close the evening. The house was gorgeous and had ample linens and supplies for our entire trip. The market is right across the street and has most anything you would need. We absolutely loved our stay. We had a 1 year old, 4 year old, 6 year old and a 12 year old. All the kids thoroughly enjoyed all the games and toys. The beach gear was also perfect for all ages. Port Sanilac is an amazing sleepy beach town. All in all it is a perfect house, perfect property in a great little village for a quiet family get away. If I could rate it higher I would. First rate across the board.

5 stars! LETS BOOK IT EVERY SUMMER despite 2 things...

Beautiful home - cleanliness was 5 stars and supplies for EVERYTHING was 5 stars! You need cleaning supplies? You name it everything is there. You need towels? TONS! You need supplies to cook/grill? She has you covered and everything was so organized it was very pleasing to the eyes. And the fun stuff in the garage OMG seriously fun stuff for every age! It was overwhelming in the best way! The only down side was the water access was not direct. You have to walk around into the neighbors property which it seems made her a bit mad. The reason there is no direct access is it seems as tho there is beach erosion and it created this little water area that you have to walk around in order to get direct beach access. You have to walk thru these sharp grass type areas and then walk back onto the owners property beach area to then enjoy the water. It was a downside when we had to carry so much stuff when we wanted to do water sports thru that mess and onto the neighboring property. She did supply a wagon to load up beach supplies to get the the water but again there was no path to walk to the beach without going thru this sharp grass and up and down steep areas so the wagon idea would not work IMO. We made it work tho with a little muscle and sweat. Another downside which was no control of the owners like the beach erosion was the neighbors. The left side neighbor was constantly in her yard with his huge black dog. It seems as tho he was taking a walk but every hour?! This dog was in her yard more than we were... made my kiddos feel uneasy. The neighbors on the right like i said before were a little upset that we had to walk thru their property to get beach access and then also went ahead and told us to stay out of this water area where the beach erosion was because a child drowned in it?! This is not a story I want to hear on my vacation despite how sad the story was. I am assuming the neighbor did not want us using her property as a walk thru due to liability and worried one of my kids would fall into that body of water and get injured? We only had the right side to get to the beach access since the left side is completely blocked by the small body of water. THESE THINGS ARE OUT OF THE OWNERS CONTROL but I wanted to mention these items since the beach access was the selling point to me. If your looking for direct walk out of the house access at the time of our stay it was not possible. However maybe this erosion is temporary? STILL 5 STARS & recommend!

Fabulous vacation home.

We have rented this home two times now for our family for 10 days. The view is amazing and the house is super clean and very spacious. The kitchen table is a bit small but we brought a folding table with extra chairs and it worked out fine. The property provides a lot of kids beach and water toys and games. The bedding and towels are high quality. Kitchen is well stocked. The property is secluded and very quiet. Small grocery store right across the street is a bonus. The only dresser provided is in the master bedroom. A little difficult if you are staying a while. Property provides firewood for campfire which was so nice. When we got there we were provided with a nice welcome basket full of goodies. Jinar (owner) is so helpful and so detail oriented. We will always have amazing memories of our vacations in this fabulous home.

Look no further!

We could not have asked for a better experience. The views from the lake house are beyond beautiful and the amenities the house has to offer are endless! There is truly something for guests of every age at this house. Our weekend was filled with memories we will forever cherish.

Hi there, I'm a mom with two growing boys. I've lived most of my life in Michigan. I love being by the water and gardening. So this Lake Property is my place of Zen. Our family often spends time by the water whenever we get the chance. I enjoy watching my boys play in the water and kicking back watching the boats go by. Our favorite family past time is making s'mores by the fireplace. This is the one time I allow my boys to have a sugary treat before bedtime. They love it! I hope for many great memories for you and your family and friends as well.

Location, location, location!! The home is right on the lake, with one of the best views of Lake Huron. There's no bluff so that means no stairs in the way of getting to the water and sand. It's also walking distance to Port Sanilac harbor where you can find many family-friendly activities including concerts on the weekends, and Lexington Village is a cute little town that's only a 15 min. drive away for shopping, antiquing and even more restaurants. A few fun activities/services in the area: paddle board and kayak rentals, diving sunken shipwreck, fishing off the water breaker (salmon, walleye, perch), a barn theater, a historical village and museum and a drive-in movie theater (have you ever been to one of these?!). Accommodations, accommodations, accommodations!! The home is very well stocked with all the basic necessities and comforts of home, plus more, so no worries of having to pack up all your belongings for this trip. Plenty of sand and water toys for both children and adults. Enjoy water and sand by day and a fire pit by night. Firewood is even provided. And last but not least, the home is bright and cheerful - you will feel like you're on vacation the minute you step into the home.
