Terrible beds make it hard to get a good night sleep. The beds squeak terribly. The twin beds are a trundle bed system that is very difficult to open up and still maneuver in the room. No blankets or top sheets could be found for the trundle bed. We did not realize this until we opened the bed to go to sleep at 1am. I checked the closet in the bedroom and hallway and laundry room to no avail. The next day when I messaged about the blanket they informed me the blanket for the trundle bed is on the bed in a different room. Because our friends were already in bed in that room we did not even think to look on their bed for our blanket.Also, you need to know that in order to get to one of the bedrooms you have to walk through the room with the trundle bed and then the door between these rooms is a barn type door that allows you to see into the other room. The living space is nice, the neighborhood seems nice and the house is clean. Unfortunately, the inability to get a decent night sleep gives the 2 star rating.

Disappointing Stay – Not as AdvertisedOur recent stay at this home was disappointing and did not meet expectations. The property was poorly maintained: the sofas were dirty and had cigarette burns, the living room carpet was torn, and the mattresses were uncomfortable. The guest bedroom bed squeaked loudly with even slight movement, making it difficult to get a proper night’s rest.To add to the frustration, the host attempted to charge additional fees after checkout for what we consider normal use of the home. This included normal bathroom trash left in the bins, a small piece of paper found on the bathroom floor, and even use of the stovetop—none of which we’ve ever been penalized for in past rental experiences.We were also asked to start the dishwasher and run a load of laundry for the bedding and towels from the master suite before departure, which felt excessive and unusual compared to other vacation rentals.Overall, the condition of the home and the handling of post-checkout communication made for a disappointing experience. We would not recommend this property and will not be returning.

Super cool and clean home. The screened in porch was amazing during a rain storm. Peaceful and relaxing. Perfect place to stay for baseball tournaments at East Cobb or Lake point!!

Honeybee House

We loved our stay at the Honeybee house. Cute little cottage that we felt very at home in. Very comfortable and clean. Easy communication with host. Great location. Loved that they had some items in kitchen and bathroom that we had forgot at home. They had extra blankets and pillow which was a huge plus. Also pots and pans to cook with. Thank you for making our stay in GA a beautiful one.

Honeybee, a really nice place

The Honeybee was cute, charming, clean, and convenient. The host was quite responsive to our inquiries about the house. Our only concern was the comfort of the beds. None of our guests slept well due to worn-out mattresses and sagging, creaky beds. If you're spending the night out of town, then sleep is at a premium, and these beds missed the mark. Otherwise, the house was fantastic.

Very much enjoyed the cute house. It has plenty of room and is very quaint. Excellent communications with Melissa. Very conveniently located to everything in the area of then Galleria and the Braves Stadium. Will stay there again next year.

Great location

This was a cozy home that had everything we needed to come and go for our weekend wedding events. The outdoor covered patio was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

Cute spot with some notes!

Overall is this a cute house in a convenient location! While the proximity to the highway is great for going to attractions-there is a decent amount of traffic noise at the house. The biggest thing to note-as seen in other reviews is that this is not a true 3BR. Two of the rooms are connected by a sliding barn door. The house is decorated in a vintage/antique style-thus some of the beds are squeaky and not the most comfy! We were traveling with kids and enjoyed that there was a park walkable from the house. The “play equipment” in the backyard is not very playable. As long as the room configuration works for your group-would recommend!

Beeutiful!

The Honeybee House did not disappoint! Cute house on quiet street close to Atlanta. It was just what we were looking for. Although it was only for one night, we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The theme was carried out throughout the house which was a nice touch. Would definitely stay there again!

Very comfortable lodging

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the Honeybee House and would love to return again. Great communication with the host. Comfortable rooms, beds, nice-sized kitchen and living space. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch - ate many of our meals out there. My only disappointment was that some of the amenities listed were not actually available to us. We would have used the pack n play for our toddler and the dvd player to play a kids dvd, but the bed was not at this property and the dvd player had been replaced with the Roku. A little disappointing, but not a deal breaker. Still a great place to stay with a family.

Attending family wedding

We chose the property as it was near the three wedding venues. And was easy 10-15min drive to each. The houses back yard and nearby park were perfect for our two yr old granddaughter to burn off energy.

The house itself was fine. The couches need replacing. The day bed was not sleepable due to excessive squeaking. Only master bedroom had a tv. No coffee, but had coffee filters. No dishwasher soap. Had to purchase some. Lack of tv stations. For the price I paid a motel would have been mor accommodating.

I love this property. It is quiet, clean, and relaxing. The property manager is amazing and has great communication at all time. Will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful experience with The Honeybee House. Beautiful decorated place, so cozy and welcoming. Loved the screened in back porch. Neighborhood was quite and we felt very safe there.

So Charming!

The home was conveniently located just slightly north of Atlanta in a quiet suburb. The pictures are very accurate. It’s so charming and cozy! The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels, the kitchen was very well stocked and the stay was all around pleasant.

Loved it!

We chose to stay here just overnight for a concert and we’re so happy we did. The house was clean and beautifully redone. The host communicated with me multiple times during the check in process. We plan to return for a long weekend and hope this rental is available!

As an Guest, I treat each place like my own. Taking care of eveything, hanging towels, & leaving it as I found it. I often travel with my husband (who is also a neat freak) & occasionally my 2 kids.

Historic Marietta is the first city north of Atlanta and close to SunTrust Park! It was a military town and thi sis part of history. A 1950s cozy home brought back to life. Wonderful use of space and a place you will want to revisit.
