It has beautiful views of the tarn and is in an idyllic village which is steeped in history. It is 16th Century and used to be an old wash house. It was merged into the cottage in-front originally, then it was made into 3 cottages, now, we have merged 2. Only through renovation work it has a couple of straight walls, all of the others are crooked! It has beams that have come from viking ships.
My mother did a lot of travelling, the house is named after the SS Oronsay, a ship which she sailed to Australia on. She visited many countries and you can see artefacts from her travels on the walls.
