We stayed here over Spring Break. We had teenagers and a grandparent in our group. We've rented dozens of Oregon beach houses over the years, and they each have their own personality... This house, overall, is nice. It can accommodate a lot of people in beds. However, the upstairs living area is very tight for seating, if you happened have somebody in all the beds. The living room only seats 4 comfortably, 5 if you sit shoulder-to-shoulder on the couch. When we arrived at the home, there was a loud "speaker feedback" noise coming from two locations: one in the basement bedroom, and one in the main living room (both from what looked like built-in speakers in the walls). The noise coming from these was intolerable. I waited on hold with Vacasa for over 30 minutes in order to report the problem. While on hold, I found the corresponding breaker in the box down in the garage, and turned that noise OFF. However, that left the front bedroom and bathroom without overhead lights. That was fine, as long as the noise was silenced :/ There were just a couple of oddities that might be mentioned. First, the beach access is through one of the bedrooms. So, if you want to exit the house without going out the front door, you have to go through somebody's bedroom. Second, the bunkbeds downstairs seem perfect for kids, but there are large sharks adhered to the ceiling right next to where the upper bunks are. So, if your kiddo is afraid of hammerhead sharks, this might be an issue lol. Finally, the TV (Roku) system was a pain, and there was no stereo system that we could find to stream our music on. For some reason, the Roku wouldn't let us sign into our own streaming accounts on Netflix or Pandora, and in general we found the entertainment system to be difficult to run. We would have liked to listen to music, but didn't bring our own speaker, and could not locate a bluetooth connection for that on the TV, either. Not the end of the world, but ambient music is nice when you're at the beach. On the plus side, the view is outstanding, and the pantry was well stocked. The refrigerator opens the "wrong way" which we all got a big laugh out of every time we tried to get in there while other people were in the kitchen (you have to back up in order to open the door). Again, a nice house. Just a few "bugs" that could be improved.
