First, our GPS took us to the houses next door on either side of the target address. Once we finally found the very small, overgrown driveway on the 101 hwy we saw the Vacasa sign was partially covered by overgrown brush and the address post, while visible, is pretty small. It might be helpful if Vacasa had a larger sign and had noted the driveway is roughly 15- 20 yards past Sunahama Place street. (When driving south on 101.) If you’re driving a sedan, it might bottom out in a few spots on the rutted driveway. But the longish driveway helps minimize the road noise from 101 so it’s not really noticeable in the house.
The house is on a cliff and has a great view, but unless you’re ready for the 60+ steep stairs down and back, getting to the beach means driving to a nearby park.
The yard is large, but dry and dusty and could use some pine needle cleanup around the picnic table.
The house was clean, but baseboards need wiping down. Stove works well. The gas grill is indoors and would need to be pulled outside for use thru a smaller sliding door- so we passed. The microwave is missing paint on the inside, but it works. Although with the missing paint it should be replaced.
The deck off the kitchen is nicely painted and has a picnic table that was clean.
Although there are 3 bedrooms on the main level, there is only 1 bathroom. The other bathroom upstairs is very, very small. The TV worked well in living room and is able to access all the pay channel’s: Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc.
The view is the best part of the house. And since we were there over the 4th it was awesome that there were no loud fireworks in the neighborhood or on the beach.
Outside yard could use some trimming and cleanup. The gate at the bottom of the stairs to the beach has been damaged and half of it was lying broken to the side. If you want a quiet area and a great view, this is your place.
