Wonderful hosts. Splendid location. Easy to get to the Vieux Port, Calanques National Park, and other sites in Marseille. Very close to swimming spots like Anse de Fause Monaie and Plage Maldormi. I would be thrilled to stay here again.

Our hosts were extremely welcoming and were on hand to answer any queries. The accommodation was larger than expected and was comfortable; we had everything we needed. The neighbourhood was quiet but excellently located for bars, restaurants and bus stops. It was easy to walk into the old port via the lovely Plage des Catalans.

A lovely and comfortable room in a great area of Marseille. Close to local beaches, restaurants, corner stores, and the bus stop. The host was very communicative and gave lots of recommendations. Plus, the view from the balcony is stunning!

Beautiful place in a great location

I highly recommend this place! The hosts are kind, location <5 min from bus stops, and a beautiful view from the balcony. Our trip to Marseille was as great as it was because of this property. Multiple restaurants and beaches within walking distance and all in a safe part of town. We had an amazing time here!

Lovely apartment

The room was much bigger than I thought it would be. Very beautiful property and view of the ocean. Incredible area, close to local beaches. Close to restaurants and supermarket. The hosts are wonderful; Ray gave me a walking tour of the local beaches and looking points. I’d love to come back!

Perfect place to stay in Marseille

If you’re looking for a great spot to walk around and discover Marseille, this is for you! The property is conveniently located near a bus stop, beaches, and walking distance to the Vieux-Port. The hosts, Ray and Claude, are extremely friendly and helped us make the most out of our stay. They even let us leave our bags with them past check out so we could keep exploring. If we’re ever in the area again, we will be back! 10/10 overall :)

Great, great!

Hosts Ray and Claude are so sweet and hospitable. I even went to the film festival together with Ray, and for questions or help she was always reachable. For the rest the apartment is in the best neighborhood of Marseille I’ve been told by many. Close to the sea and also walkable to the center. The room and bathroom are very simple but has enough what you need. The balcony and view are amazing. Definitely return here when I go to Marseille

Dandy apartment, great view of the sea

The space is beautifully decorated, in a great location, with lots of room. Has the expected amenities plus some (full coffee service, utensils, plates, microwave, small refrigerator) - helping us to be comfortable during our 6 night stay. The view of the sea from the terrace is amazing, as the rooms are up a flight of stairs. Hosts are wonderful people, so welcoming, kind and gracious! Nice neighborhood, with easy access to main street that has the bus, shops and restaurants. The bus is a direct route to Vieux Port, for sightseeing and the metro stop. The highlight of our stay in Marseille!

INCREDIBLE

"The room with a balcony overlooking the sea" is a mere hint of how wonderful this second floor studio space is in Marseille. The location is extremely safe and convenient to walk to public transport to access all areas of the city and beyond. Quiet, sunny, artsy, with an amazing view through tall shuttered french windows across an idylic setting of old world Marseille. The studio comes with a comfortable bed, desk/lamps,small library and fully equipped with a mini kitchen, but plenty of reasons to eat out at the many local restaurants/bars and cafes.Walking distance to amazing coastal areas loved by the French for swimming and sunbathing. And the bests hosts ever. We cannot wait to return.

Formidable

We had a very nice stay in Claude and Rays flat - spending half of our time in the city and the other half out in the Calanques. Returning home in the evening felt some what like coming home as the apartment owns a quite personal and lovely style. We used the small table to take our breakfast and dinner out on the little balcony, eating out in one of those plenty charming vegetarian Restaurants. And - probably as important as feeling comfortable in the flat: Ray and Claude were so very kind and warm-hearted, always open to give advises and ready to help - which made us feel very welcome! If we were to return to Marseille, we would most probably rent this flat again, I guess :-D. Merci à vous!

Auch unser zweiter Urlaub in dieser Unterkunft war wunderbar! Perfekte Lage in einem ruhigen Viertel. Geschäfte, Restaurants und Cafés in direkter Umgebung und man ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten am Meer (und kann das Meer vom Balkon aus sehen).

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, nous avions à notre disposition une grande partie de l'étage de la maison, une grande chambre avec de la vaisselle si besoin et une bouilloire, une grande salle de bain contenant également un petit réfrigérateur, un micro-ondes et une cafetière Nespresso, des toilettes séparées, il y avait également un balcon avec une petite table pour deux. La vue est très belle, à gauche Notre Dame de La Garde, en bas un théâtre et une multitude d'arbres et à droite la mer. Nous avons toujours eu de la place pour se garer dans la rue. La propriétaire est sympathique et bienveillante. Donc, je recommande vivement.

Agréable séjour

Nous avons vraiment apprécié l'hospitalité exceptionnelle de Ray et Claude. L'invitation à l'apéro, les recommandations de randonnées et de lieux remarquables, la vue fantastique du balcon sur la mer et les calanques ont rendu plus beau notre séjour. L'appartement - une oasis dans la turbulente Marseille – est très propre. La mer est accessible à pied et les restaurants, cafés et magasins du quartier ne sont qu'à quelques minutes. Un grand merci à Ray et Claude, nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Schöner Aufenthalt

Hatte einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist perfekt gelegen mit gutem Ausblick. Vieux Port ist fußläufig und mit Bus sehr gut zu erreichen.
