We had a wonderful stay in this Bordeaux apartment. Very charming, beautifully decorated, and truly cozy, it made us feel right at home. The neighborhood is perfect, with everything close by: bakery, butcher, grocery store, cheese shop, wine cellar… and only a 10-minute walk to the Grand Théâtre. Many thanks to the hosts, who were absolutely lovely and welcoming!

Perfect for our 4 couples

This home is amazing, clean, has a great location to excellent restaurants, and is close to shopping also. We had a wonderful time visiting with friends in the main kitchen area each morning and evening and then off to our own room with our private bath. Privacy and also the ability to be together made this VRBO perfect for our group. The managers/owners were very easy to work with.

Fantastic property

Wonderful property and location. Communication with the owners was seamless and the house was exactly what we needed. The pictures do not do it justice as it is beautifully decorated and in great condition.

Group of family and friends in town for Rugby World Cup. Super house delivered exactly according to the listing. Owners always available, if required. Would highly recommend and would stay again

Excellent home base in Bordeaux

This property was excellent for our group of six made up of three couples. Bedrooms all have en suite baths and there are actually five total bedrooms, again, all with baths. The kitchen is fully equipped, the living and dining space ample, and the deck is large and attractive. All of Bordeaux's lovely areas are within walking distance, however this property is located on a relatively quiet alley off a main street.This property made our stay in Bordeaux very enjoyable.

Perfect location for spending a week in Bordeaux

Traveling with 8 family members this was the perfect location. Seconds from the Tram stop, around the corner from the bakery, produce shop and 2 grocery stores we were able to grab breakfast every morning and snacks later in the day. Super quiet at night (ever with a Rugby final happening). Plenty of space to spread out relax and recharge. Would definitely recommend this location. One caveat, there are A LOT of stairs so if you have mobility issues this might not be for you. Otherwise don’t hesitate!

Amazing place!

We stayed here during our 2 day stop in Bordeaux. We were 2 families of 4. The place is just as advertised and Camille was very responsive. The location is perfect, a short 5 minute walk to the city center. We would highly recommend it! Thanks Camille!

Family Stay

Booked the place out for a week with 8 of us staying. Located in a cul-de-sac (Impasse), it is near the 'D' tramline at the Fondaudege Museum. All five rooms were excellent with air conditioning. The kitchen was well equipped and 'William' even provided a few necessities to get us going. The lounge and breakfast/dining area is adequate, but would be a bit crowded for 10. Great location and fine place to stay.

Better in Bordeaux

The VRBO apartment in central Bordeaux was perfectly suited for our trip to see wine country and it made our entire experience just that much better! The apartment was filled with natural sunlight, roomy, well appointed and close to everything. Thank you to our gracious hosts who responded quickly to every question we had. Just lovely!

Charming home

We booked our stay and loved this charming home. The hosts decorated the place with their guests in mind. Everything was provided and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. We love how the house is situated close to everything and the bakery around the corner was cherry on top. We will return to this flat again. We just hope it’s available when we do.

Lovely stay in Bordeaux

My husband and I and our two adult children thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home. Camille and William have put a lot of effort into this property and it shows. They were personally involved with all aspects of our stay. The house is comfortable and beautiful and the bedrooms and bathrooms are even nicer than shown on the website. The location is a 10 minute walk to the center of town but is on a very quiet side street. Perfect for a Bordeaux stay!

Fabulous End to a Fabulous Trip

We stayed in this guest house on the last stop on our trip to France. After eleven days of traveling, the property was extremely comfortable and relaxing. The house was located within walking distance of all the spots we wanted to see in the city of Bordeaux. There was also the best patisserie we tried in France right around the corner, with delicious baguettes and croissants. The property manager was very helpful and recommended a great restaurant for us. If we ever get back to Bordeaux, we will try to stay at this property.

Beautiful place, great for a group, well located

The place was even better than we would have thought from Jen photos and descriptions. We were a group of 7 with three couples and a solo and had plenty of room. Wish we had more time to spend in the house. It was a bit hot for the terrace except in the morning and after the sun was off of it and definitely too hot for the hot tub but had coffee there is the morning and it was very relaxing. The only small criticism I would have is the instructions are sparse about check in and check out but the hosts are so responsive it wasn’t a problem. Highly recommend!

Lovely central house

Really suited our group as all bedrooms were spacious and had ensuites. Quiet location and enjoyed the trams which had a stop just at the end of the street. There were many stairs however as one of the bedrooms was on main floor it was not an issue for the one in the group who had an issue with mobility. Could have had more dining room chairs to accommodate a larger group and perhaps instructions for the air-con but overall we managed well without having to contact owner. Enjoyed having the bakery around the corner. Overall an enjoyable stay.

The house was beautiful and as advertised. 5 bedrooms, all en suite with separate WC. The kitchen is small but well equipped. Can't really get more than two in there together, but it opens on to living/dining area. Nice back patio. Great location. As we don't speak French, struggled with some of the electronics (stove,washer,dryer, A/Cs). While the house was lovely, it could use a good deep cleaning.Overall, we would definitely recommend the place!

Perfect Location - Lovely property

A group of five, we had a lovely stay at La Maison Odeia. William and Camille were hospitable, responsive and helpful. The home is beautifully furnished and very well supplied, with everything and more that you may need. There is lots of indoor and outdoor space, good light, impeccably clean.We would have liked some written information and directions, so we did not have to contact the hosts with questions, although they were completely available. The location is perfect, for walking around the city, for trams, for buying food, good restos, sights - everything. We felt very fortunate to have found this place. Merci William et Camille!

Girls Getaway

Five of us who got to know each other at work almost 30 years ago and are now long-term friends got away for a week in Bordeaux. The house could not have been a better set up. Five large master bedrooms with large en suite bathrooms in each room. Great kitchen area for gathering, dining and relaxing. Beautiful patio on the main level and with many of the bedrooms. The location is right around the corner from a fantastic bakery, green grocery and pharmacy. The tram line is only steps from the door and everything in Bordeaux is 10 to 15 minutes walking distance. A wonderful week of friendship, shopping, wine tasting into wine. Our hostess, Camille, could not have been more helpful and prompt in her replies. Highly recommend this place for any visit to Bordeaux.

Family in Bordeaux

The property was very clean. The bedrooms were very nice with almost a spa feeling. Each bedroom had a private bathroom. The kitchen was well-equipped with a good dishwasher and fridge. The location was excellent for walking, shopping, and the tram.The owners were receptive to our questions. They seemed to value that we enjoyed out stay.Perhaps I should have inquired more when I rented, but we were surprised that the rental was on multiple levels - four! Although this is not unusual for Bordeaux, it was not listed in the description. The stairs were difficult for us. It would have been helpful if this had been listed in the description.We suggest the owners provide a guide for the property with information such as how to change temperature for heat/cool, where to put the trash/recycling, and how to use the fire place.We highly recommend this property with the note about the stairs if that is a concern for potential renters.Thank you to the owners for sharing their property.

Merveilleux en tous points

Magnifique endroit, magnifique demeure, magnifiques hôtes ! William et Camille sont très accueillants et très présents pour leurs invités. La demeure est si belle ! Confortable, propre, magnifiquement décorée … chacun y trouve son intimité et le salon et la terrasse très invitants pour se retrouver. Situation idéale pour se rendre à pieds aux endroits et le tram passe à la sortie de la maison .. tout est facile ! Merci d’avoir fait de notre séjour à Bordeaux un merveilleux souvenir !

Wonderful stay

We are 4 couples traveling from the USA for a Viking River cruise. We had a lovely 3 days at this 5 bedroom flat. It had everything thing we needed & located very central to everything. We had a lovely bakery round the corner & a grocery store a couple of blocks away. Great great place!!!!!

Perfect Location in Bordeaux

Everything about this property was wonderful. It was centrally located near attractions of the city and wonderful restaurants and right outside the gates of a beautiful park. There was an amazing pastry shop a block away and a grocery store nearby. We didn’t need a car. The unit is beautiful, well designed and well stocked. Each room has an individual thermostat. The garden area is quiet and relaxing. Cami and William were great hosts. Communication was good and they were available for questions. We highly recommend.
