Great location on the island. You can bring your bikes and lock them on the racks they have on property. Downtown shops, restaurants, and pier are all a mile away. WWII museum is also a mile bike ride as well. Condo is the first level so you have stairs from your balcony to the ground and it’s easy access to the parking lot from that. Plenty of room for our family of 7 and had all that we needed for the kitchen. The walk to the beach from condo is just straight through the grounds but it’s a little longer then some elderly may wish. Pool was great temperature especially considering we were there mid March. We had only 2 negatives that didn’t really bother us that bad. First one was the specific bed my husband and I slept in was very hard but everyone else said theirs was fine. The other issue was very minor, The bathrooms and bedrooms could use some updating but again minor issue that didn’t effect our visit. Our favorite things about this trip were WWII museum, the fort, pier, and how we pretty much used our bikes the whole trip including to the fort and back (14 mile round trip).
