Welcome to The Sun Lodge

Escape to The Sun Lodge, a private three-story mountain retreat in a gated 3,000-acre Blue Ridge community. Surrounded by hiking trails, wildlife, and sweeping mountain views, this is the perfect place for couples or families to relax, reconnect, and unwind.

Conveniently located just 25 minutes from Boone and Wilkesboro and 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Great stay

Place was very nice with a great view. Outdoor fire pit would make this place perfect. I would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Wonderful place, great view, hiking, waterfall and pond!

We have already booked another stay here! The view is top notch. Cozy house and we love it here. The waterfall and pond with all of the trails make this a great getaway.

Amazing stay!! Perfect cabin.

Second time staying here that’s how much we enjoyed the cabin and our stay, the view is breathtaking, location is good close to bigger towns around. The communication with the management is great, you are not going to have an issue at all, cabin spotless clean and fully furnished and kitchen fully equipped as well, great for families stays. Could not recommend this property enough is great 10 out of 10 for everything.

Beautiful Stay In The Mountains

Wonderful cabin with a view to die for. We could have spent the whole weekend sitting on the deck but we would have missed the beautiful interior with any amenity you could ask for, comfortable bed and fully stocked kitchen. Thank you to the owners for making their home available for others to enjoy. Hopefully, we can visit again.

The good: Beautiful views and cabin. Comfortable beds, good location to Boone and Wilkesboro The bad: only one TV downstairs in the main bedroom, spiral stairs upstairs and downstairs.

Thank you for your response. We clearly state in our description "****IMPORTANT: Please note the staircases are spiral and are tight. You will need to watch your step. Please keep this in mind if booking with small children or elderly travelers." We also state that we have one tv. We pride ourselves on having a top notch home and we consistently get 5 star reviews. Its unfortunate to get less than that because a renter didn't read the description of the property.

Amazing!!! perfect mountain get away!

If you are looking for a breathtaking view of the mountains this is it!! Cabin is fully equipped, the view is amazing, the owners are so welcoming, great communication, they took care of every little detail during our stay, everything you need they have it for you and your family. They are very thoughtful and kind, we already booked our next stay! That’s how much we love and enjoyed our stay!

Little paradise on the top of the mountain

We had a great time at the mountains. Watching sunrise in the morning accompanied by little hummingbirds was my favorite. Thank you Linda and Greg for sharing your lodge with us.

Pleasant stay

We really liked the property. It rained the whole time we were there. We had some good views despite the weather. Lodge was well supplied and very thoughtfully planned. Made it so easy to prepare meals in the kitchen.

Paradise in the mountains

I was in awe of the beauty of this land and home. It truly is a little slice of heaven. The hosts were very thoughtful and great communicators throughout. My family and I had a blast and we look forward to returning in the future.

Terrific views and a beautiful mountain home.

If two sets of spiral stairs separating the living / sleeping areas would not bother you then this is the place for you.

Loved our stay!

We rented the property for a quiet weekend away. Everything was exactly as pictured and stated in the listing. The home is so cozy, well stocked and has incredible views. The hosts are very organized and great communicators. We will be back!

Great Accommodations!!

We have stayed in numerous cabins over the years and this one was the most well stocked and one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. We did have a problem with one of the toilets, but Greg was in it and took care of it for us. It was a great location between Wilkesboro and Boone. Beautiful deck overlooking the mountains. We would stay here again without question.

We have loved spending time together in the mountains. We decided to find a get away place for us to relax and unwind. This was the first and only property we looked at. We fell in love right away.

この宿泊施設の特徴

One of the reasons we chose our cabin is for its peaceful seclusion and incredible views. With that being said, it will take you about 15 minutes from the gate house to reach The Sun Lodge. We love the winding roads and find it beautiful. Often we encounter deer, raccoons, fox, and wild turkey.
