Fabulous place

Cannot fault the property, it has everything for a very enjoyable stay. The pool area is lovely with the added benefit of a separate covered seating area which is always in the shade for those really hot days. We also liked that the pool is one depth throughout. The Auberge opposite serves good food and is not expensive and the village store two minutes walk away has everything you might need. The wi-fi can be a little slow occasionally but I suspect this is because the village is well up in the hills and this reflects the service to Sournia perhaps. The property is about a half hour's drive from the nearest town and the main road into Perpignan but this wasn't an issue for us and I would not hesitate to recommend it as a holiday rental. We had a lovely time and were sad to leave.

Mooi huis, schoon en het contact verliep goed. Aanrader! Aandachtspuntje is dat de terrastegels spekglad zijn als ze nat worden, maar dit kun je oplossen door er een grote handdoek overheen te leggen. Mocht je hinder ondervinden van muggen; koop een flesje natuurlijke muggenverjager met citronella en voeg er zelf een druppel etherische olie van oregano, teatree en kruidnagel aan toe. We hebben geen last meer gehad!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette belle maison, très bien équipée et décorée avec gout. La piscine bien que petite est très agréable, La région est très belle Wim et Pascale sont à l'écoute et très réactive. Nous recommandons vivement!!!

Amazing Property, Amazing Owners

From booking to arriving, the owners were super helpful, giving us loads of information before we arrived, and answering all of our questions. The property itself was perfect for us, we were 5 in total, ages ranging from 75 to 13! Plenty of space both indoors and out and everything we could think of was provided! The local shop was a real gem as well and literally around the corner. Would absolutely recommend this property

Sehr schöner Urlaub

Das großzügige Ferienhaus mit dem kleinen Pool ist sehr schön. Wir vier haben nichts vermisst und die Ruhe genossen. Es ist alles vorhanden, Anne und Wim haben an alles gedacht. Danke für die entspannten 2 Wochen in Sournia. Familie Rusch aus Münster

villa très agréable pour des vacances inoubliable.

Nous avons passé un très bon vacances dans cette agréable villa accueillante et bien adaptée pour une famille ( 2 adultes+3 enfants voir même plus), soleil, piscine, jardin ,BBQ....TOP. située dans un petit village sympathique "SOURNIA" vraiment c'est une belle région à découvrir. Un grand merci pour les propriétaires puisque ils étaient très gentils et réactifs (disponibles). Je recommande fortement et je reviendrai certainement.

La maison est vraiment agréable. C'est super pour passer une semaine de vacances pour se reposer. Par contre, il faut une voiture et ne pas avoir peur de conduire en montagne. Il y a pleins de choses à faire autour, mais il fait au moins 1/2 heure pour atteindre l'autoroute. Sinon, la maison est top.

Une agréable semaine passée loin du tumulte de la ville! Une maison cosy parfaite pour se retrouver en famille ou entre amis. Piscine sécurisée pour les enfants, très agréable ! Petit cadeau d'arrivée très apprécié. Propriétaires disponibles et réactifs ! Un vrai plaisir de vacances !

Maison bien agencée, jolie aussi bien l’intérieur que l’extérieur pour l’ombre ou le soleil . Loin de la ville très bien pour se ressourcer. Pour aller visiter les environs, il faiit aimer les routes de montagne. Un regret l’auberge en face était fermée .

Un coin paradiasiaque perdu dans la montagne

Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances dans cette jolie maison , spacieuse, calme , très bien située , avec tout le confort nécessaire . Le jardin est un délice, les patio et la piscine invitent à la détente . Toute la famille (petits et grands) ne souhaite qu'une chose : REVENIR ! Un grand "merci" aux propriétaires .

Belle propriété de village mais à l’écart du bruit, avec beau jardin paysagé et piscine très agréable. Maison spacieuse et bien aménagée . Tout le confort y est. Nombreuses visites à proximité et la mer n’est pas très loin. Un bon compromis pour ceux qui ne veulent pas les inconvénients des stations balnéaires et des grandes agglomérations touristiques. Ici on Est tout proche de la nature avec de beaux panoramas reposants . Merci aux propriétaires qui ont été à l’écoute et réactifs aux sollicitations bien qu’éloignés.

Relaxing mountain getaway

The house was comfortable, welcoming, and well-suited for a family (even two). The furnishings were of high quality. The backyard was perfect for dining al fresco and enjoying lazy afternoons by the pool. The kitchen is well equipped for a family too, which we appreciated immensely. The town of Sournia is a sleepy mountain town. We were able to easily enjoy the local waterfalls (accessible by foot) and it was just a short drive to Ille sur Tete and other local attractions worth visiting. The owners were easy to communicate with and everything went smoothly during our stay. The linens for hire aspect is a bit of a hassle. I would definitely stay in this house again if in the area and hope to be back one day to explore more of the region.

Super séjour dans une maison agréable et fonctionnelle

Maison très agréable avec tout le confort nécessaire. L'extérieur avec la piscine, le salon de jardin et le BBQ sont vraiment un plus. Les propriétaires sont très sympa et surtout très réactif à nos différentes demandes. Je recommande !
