Fabulous, family friendly villa with pool
Our family of four including two children 9 and 11 years had a fantastic, relaxing time at Gualdo Cattaneo. Our hosts welcomed us on arrival and gave us all the information we needed to find horse riding schools, hire a good quality racing bike locally at amazingly reasonable rates and went beyond the call of duty, so far as to help us back in to the property when we locked ourselves out and to contact lost property and retrieve our lost items from the airport.
The property is a beautiful old stone house, with out building containting table tennis, large lawns and a pool. Furniture is traditional but all good quality. A large terrace for each of the apartments meant we had privacy even though there was another family nearby.
A fabulous place, great service and recommendations from the owner. So many fabulous hill forts and places to visit. Umbria is a beautiful, green, hilly an der hugely historic place with amazing food, weather and people.
We would happily return and rate this holiday as excellent.
