"Schoolhouse"は、ダロネガの町やノースジョージアの様々な観光スポットから数分のアパラチア山脈のふもとにあります。 街から出るための静かな空間、自然愛好家、ワイン愛好家、作家、そして地域の豊かな歴史を探求したい人に最適です。

マスターベッドルーム（元の校舎の一部）には、クイーンサイズベッド、シャワー付きバス、元の校舎の入り口だったドアからアクセス可能な専用の遮蔽付きポーチがあります。

セカンドベッドルームには、ビンテージコイルボックススプリング付きのフルサイズベッドがあります。 フルサイズのバスタブとシャワー付きのバスもあります。

リビングルームもオリジナルの校舎の一部で、折りたたみ式のソファがあり、6フィート以下の大人は寝ることができます。 寝具と枕が用意されています。

The house was exactly as listed. It was a delightful and charming place. The owner communicated thoroughly with me and went above and beyond for certain. I would highly recommend this property. Privacy but a short drive to everything Dahlonega has to offer.

The Schoolhouse far exceeded our expectations - we fell in love with the place! It's nestled into the woods with nice porches to enjoy the peace and quiet. I liked that the decor was not your typical "mountain cabin" but they have used antiques and other items that go along with the former use of the building - a schoolhouse. It's cozy and comfortable, just as charming as can be. Not too far from Dahlonega or the wineries. Perfect for 2 couples or a small family. Definitely 5 stars!

Absolutely one of the most gorgeous homes we have stayed in. Pictures do not do it justice. Perfect for our family of 3 and convenient to everything we were doing in Dahlonega. Absolutely stunning decor and host really thought of all the smallest details. Super comfortable beds with luxury linens. Highly recommend to anyone and certainly would love to stay again.

Probably one of the best VRBO rentals we've stayed at in a while. The location was perfect for everything. Close to Dahlonega, wineries, great restaurants, kayaking and more. The rental itself was very clean, especially for a pet friendly place. I was very impressed. Callie provided everything you need and then some. She was also very quick to answer questions and super nice. Overall I can't say anything bad about our experience. We really enjoyed it there.

Very nice location with lots of privacy. Nicely decorated with interesting and relatable antiques relevant to the old school house. Kitchen had great cookware and dishes. Porches were beautiful. Our pets enjoyed the time there, too.

This place is a so cozy!! It had everything you could need and more. It was cold so we didn’t get to use the fire pit, but we are planning on coming back when it’s warmer! The host was very responsive and had everything organized so you felt at home.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Historical Schoolhouse. Callie was very communicative with us even letting us know before arrival that there was an internet issue in the area. She continued to stay in contact and give us updates as she received. I had a couple of questions that Callie answered quickly. The schoolhouse was warm and inviting as soon we stepped in the front door. The little extra touches throughout made it feel like a home away from home. Although we didn’t bring our dog with us, I loved how dog friendly the schoolhouse was. I already know that if we have another stay in Dahlonega, I’m checking the Schoolhouse first to see if it is available!

Cute cottage with some history

We loved the location. It was very quiet and peaceful. The screened in porch was lovely to sit and enjoy the swing without being lunched on by mosquitoes.

My name is Callie and I grew up in Chattanooga, TN. I've lived in the Atlanta area since 2002. My husband and I have two children and three dogs. I have loved the mountains all my life and fell in love with Dahlonega and the surrounding area about 10 years ago when I made my first trip there. When I was trying to bring friends and family to visit I had a hard time finding available accommodations and it was then that I got the wild idea to become a vacation rental host myself. Since then the vacation rental market has exploded and I find myself to be one of the few hosts with a solitary property who tends to it myself between every booking. With that said, I fully enjoy making my little cottage the best possible experience for each of my guests.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

My husband and I looked at many, many houses in the Dahlonega area yet I knew from the moment I first stepped foot in the Schoolhouse that this was the place. There was something about it's history and simplicity that reached into my heart and spoke to me. Not only would it be a beautiful and unique vacation cottage for guests but it would also be a perfect sanctuary for my own quiet escapes from the demands of daily life. The previous owners had done the remodeling which made it all the better. I loved perusing antique stores and estate sales as I let the house tell me how to furnish it. There are little changes here and there that I am sure I'll be making over the years but for now I am pleased to share with guests this little cottage in the woods and it brings me immense joy to provide each of them with a wonderful, memory making experience.
