The Schoolhouse Cottageへようこそ。 ここでは、1848年に建てられた美しく修復された2部屋の校舎の壁の中で、落ち着いたリラックス、そして孤独を味わうことができます。 ご滞在中は、モダンな設備の便利さを享受しながら、歴史的な遺物に囲まれることでしょう。 ダロネガ広場からわずか10分の場所にありながら、小さな森の中に隠れています。スクールハウスはプライベートな隠れ家です。

"Schoolhouse"は、ダロネガの町やノースジョージアの様々な観光スポットから数分のアパラチア山脈のふもとにあります。 街から出るための静かな空間、自然愛好家、ワイン愛好家、作家、そして地域の豊かな歴史を探求したい人に最適です。

マスターベッドルーム（元の校舎の一部）には、クイーンサイズベッド、シャワー付きバス、元の校舎の入り口だったドアからアクセス可能な専用の遮蔽付きポーチがあります。

セカンドベッドルームには、ビンテージコイルボックススプリング付きのフルサイズベッドがあります。 フルサイズのバスタブとシャワー付きのバスもあります。

リビングルームもオリジナルの校舎の一部で、折りたたみ式のソファがあり、6フィート以下の大人は寝ることができます。 寝具と枕が用意されています。

Fantastic stay at an historic and charming “old schoolhouse”!

We absolutely loved every minute and every inch of the old schoolhouse! Super comfortable and clean, decorated beautifully, and equipped with everything you could want. Felt private and restful - we will return!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

The schoolhouse was in a lovely location and extremely clean. Being around 10 minutes from town was a bonus! It is very pet friendly, with unique touches that made our pup feel right at home! Every aspect of the home feels inviting and comfortable.

Best stay!!!

This was our annual mother/daughter trip. The personal touches throughout the school house were perfect. One of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. We enjoyed the boardgames in the closet, sitting out by the fire pit, and just enjoying nature all around the house. Definitely would love to return here one day

Great place!

This was a girls trip, just two of us. My friend always wanted to stay here, finally got the opportunity to… and it was great! The only negative comment that we can give is, if you stay in the front bedroom, be prepared for a 6 AM wake up with the garbage truck (Friday morning for us)….not good! Such a sweet retreat, thank you!

wow! wow! wow!

the schoolhouse from 1848 is WONDERFUL. beautifully loved and redone. the owner has put so much thought into her place, so many special touches. anything extra you might need, it’s here. hubby and I started joking that if it wasn’t provided we must not need it (really rare). we hope to return to dahlonega and we sure want to stay here.

Oh My Gosh - Incredible!

We could not have loved our stay more at this little, adorable, magical converted school house. The home was absolutely lovely and immaculate. We loved the darling swing on the screened-in porch and the entire home was appointed lovely. We loved it so much, we already can't wait to go back. A definite 10/10!!! Thank you for making our weekend so wonderful!

Relaxation

Enjoyed the schoolhouse and all of its amenities. Callie is very detail oriented, which we enjoyed!! The house was very clean considering you can have your dogs. So many dog friendly homes are filthy. You can tell Callie takes pride in this home and loves it!!! So close to wineries and downtown area. We will definitely be back!!!

Wanted to stay longer

The renovated schoolhouse was perfect! Very private and beautiful surroundings. Cleanest place I’ve ever stayed in. The owner thought of so many special things to make our stay enjoyable. We loved lounging on the porches and the decorative outdoor lighting at night was just the right touch. Can’t wait to come back in the winter and enjoy the fire pit.

Wonderful Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the schoolhouse. The property was clean and charmingly remodeled. The cabin was well stocked/furnished and secluded enough to feel disconnected on vacation, but about 15 min easy drives from downtown Dahlonega and surrounding vinyards/restaurants. Would stay again for another getaway weekend or trip with another couple.

Perfect weekend getaway

Lovely place to stay. The home so clean and comfy! The host thought of everything to make your stay perfect. The house was well stocked with the things you sometimes forget so you could continue to enjoy your time without multiple trips to the store. Most charming

This cottage was super clean, easily accessible and the most charming place. The history of this cottage takes you back in time but the amenities are very update. We Really enjoyed our stay and hope to be able to stay again.

Historic home in tranquil setting with a well stocked kitchen and spacious porches.

We loved our stay because the location was peaceful and the home was well appointed and comfortable. The home is quiet but very convenient to Dahlonega. Hosts Callie and Chuck are nice people and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended this property.

The absolute cutest and most comfortable place

This place is easily one of the best vacation homes I've ever stayed in. It is absolutely adorable and you can tell the minute you walk in that the owners love it. The kitchen is so well stocked. It was spotless. Communication was great. It's private and has a serene peaceful feeling. We spent a lot of time on the back porch watching the hummingbirds and deer. It's close to several vineyards, Cleveland, and downtown Dahlonega. I can't imagine staying anywhere else when I need a getaway weekend.

My name is Callie and I grew up in Chattanooga, TN. I've lived in the Atlanta area since 2002. My husband and I have two children and three dogs. I have loved the mountains all my life and fell in love with Dahlonega and the surrounding area about 10 years ago when I made my first trip there. When I was trying to bring friends and family to visit I had a hard time finding available accommodations and it was then that I got the wild idea to become a vacation rental host myself. Since then the vacation rental market has exploded and I find myself to be one of the few hosts with a solitary property who tends to it myself between every booking. With that said, I fully enjoy making my little cottage the best possible experience for each of my guests.

My husband and I looked at many, many houses in the Dahlonega area yet I knew from the moment I first stepped foot in the Schoolhouse that this was the place. There was something about it's history and simplicity that reached into my heart and spoke to me. Not only would it be a beautiful and unique vacation cottage for guests but it would also be a perfect sanctuary for my own quiet escapes from the demands of daily life. The previous owners had done the remodeling which made it all the better. I loved perusing antique stores and estate sales as I let the house tell me how to furnish it. There are little changes here and there that I am sure I'll be making over the years but for now I am pleased to share with guests this little cottage in the woods and it brings me immense joy to provide each of them with a wonderful, memory making experience.
