Great central location

The chalet was immaculately clean and exactly as described. It is a 5 minute walk from the main town square and 5 minute walk from the nearest supermarket.(10 minute drive to the large Carrefour supermarkets on the edge of town.) It is next to a road (as shown in the photos) but there was little traffic in the evening, and we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony to eat dinner and admire the fantastic views. The only drawback to the road was that we stayed during a period of very hot weather and couldn't really leave the windows open due to the early morning road noise. The kitchen was very well equipped with lots of crockery and a variety of pots, pans, utensils etc and even a raclette. This was our 4th visit to Samoens, and this was by far the best property we have stayed in in terms of facilities and central location.

Magnifique location

Tout était parfait : les échanges avec les propriétaires avant notre séjour, un accueil très chaleureux. Nous avons apprécié les spécialités locales offertes dans le cadeau de bienvenue. L'appartement est très confortable et agencé avec goût. Il est d'une extrême propreté. Les lits faits à l'arrivée, le linge de toilette est fourni en grande quantité. Vaisselle et matériel de cuisine nombreux et en parfait état. On se sent tout de suite chez soi. La vue de la terrasse est splendide. Le centre du village est à 2 pas. Pour résumer, un séjour très agréable ! Si nous en avons l'opportunité, nous ne manquerons pas d'y revenir en saison hivernale.

Très bel appartement dans chalet montagnard proche du centre

Appartement très spacieux sur 3 niveau très bien équipé et décoré style montagnard. Au rez de chaussée : entrée, 2 chambres ( 1 lit 2 places, 1 ou 2 lits 1 place) donnant sur le parking du chalet, toilettes, salle de bain avec grande douche et sauna. Au 1er : grand salon avec cheminée, cuisine américaine tout équipée où rien ne manque, buanderie avec lave linge et sèche linge, belle terasse. Et en mezzanine au 3eme niveau : chambre avec balcon et lit 2 places, une belle salle de bain avec baignoire et toilettes. L'intérieur est parfait et rien ne manque. Le petit point négatif est l'extérieur l'été car la rue juste devant le chalet est assez passante en août et les repas sur la terrasse ne sont pas très agréable la journée à cause du bruit des voitures, et on ne peut pas profiter de l'exterieur pour les chambres du bas car elles donnent directement sur le parking. Cet inconvénient n'est pas gênant l'hiver. Le village de Samoëns est à 5mn à pied et animé avec de nombreux restaurants, bar, commerces. Il y a également un grand carrefour express à l'entrée de la ville. De nombreuses activités sont proposées comme la via ferrata, le rafting, le canyoning, la spéléologie, l'accrobranche, le VTT, le parapente et surtout de très belles balades très variées. Et à ne pas manquer le magnifique cirque du fer à cheval. En conclusion nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre semaine à Samoëns.
