Calder Beach Retreat

Great beach house in the perfect location. Its right in town, but the 1/4 mile private road and no visable neighbors makes it very private and quiet. The views are spectacular and so is the home. No corners cut on the luxury you will find here.

Helpful tips

When we arrived at the address, the GPS stopped well short of the location. It would’ve been helpful for the instructions to say drive to the end of the private road. In addition, the verbiage keyless entry had us believe that we would be punching in the security code, however, it was a lock box.

Beautiful Ocean Getaway

Great home with beautiful views, wonderful location and well stocked kitchen. Our family had a very memorable vacation and would definitely stay here again.

This property lived up to the title given to it...it was indeed a retreat for us. Great all around, very thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. Very clean and very private.

Amazing beach house

We enjoyed the views and walks to the beach. So peaceful. Kitchen was very well stocked. House had anything and everything you could think of. Would love to stay here again. Management was very easy to work with too!!!

PERFECT!

The house is situated on a private road with a path to the beach...PERFECT! It is also just a short drive into the town of Long Beach...PERFECT! You can see the ocean from the house...PERFECT!

relaxing beach trip

Wonderful location...view of the ocean amazing! We all thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful home. Lots of natural light due to the many windows. The private path to the beach was shorter than it looks..probably about 5 minutes. The open kitchen with anything you might need was all there. I would definitely stay at this property again!!

Lovely home in private location with sweeping ocean views

Lovely, well maintained and well supplied house in spectacular beach location with sweeping ocean views. This house is comfortable and very private. The path through the dunes is quite well kept and wide enough that two people can walk side by side. As beach paths go, this one is a super highway.

Rain or Shine!

This property was amazing. So beautiful and relaxing. It didn't matter if it was raining, sunny or even snowing. Yes, it snowed and was very cold. Inside the house it was cozy and warm with plenty to do. When it's too wet and cold we read, played games and in the garage there were more games! Great space for all to spread out or be together. Everything you would want & more. Will definitely come back.

The house was great and the kitchen was well equipped for preparing good meals. We went to the fish market in Ilwaco twice and prepared two great dinners from the freshly caught king cod. We got to spend time walking the beach and exploring the peninsula. Would go back at the drop of a hat.

Perfect in every way I could see

We spent a week in this home in early November. Location is amazing with only a couple of neighbors in sight if you look hard. Beach goes a total of 28 miles! Interior was everything we could possibly want. Play room for little kids and teen/adult foosball, pingpong, basketball etc. in the finished garage area. Kites waiting to be flown and clam guns ready to hit the beach. We have rented a lot of homes and this is our favorite ever! Simply perfect. Huge kitchen and huge TV and great bedrooms and bathrooms. Change nothing and add nothing. This home was perfect!

Pack n play and booster seat came in handy. The beach was about 1/4 of a mile walk through the grassy dunes. We had few people pass by us on foot & several vehicles. The nearest person to us was 200 yards away. We had plenty of room and space. We would definitely stay here again if we go back to Long Beach.
