Our San Antonio Getaway home is a 1920s Craftsman bungalow. It is full of history and charm to make your next San Antonio adventure special. Our home is a comfortable 1,500 sq ft home on a quiet street that can accommodate up to five people. Perfect for families! You will be only a 5-minute drive, bike ride, or scooter ride to the RiverWalk, Pearl District, and The Doseum, our world-class children's museum. We are walking distance to the San Antonio Zoo, Witte Museum, Botanical Gardens, and Brackenridge Park. Come enjoy!
Please note: Our home is 100 years old and comes with some quirks of an older home. We have worked hard to modernize our home but keep the charm. Please note that the temperate during the South Texas summer months can be over 100 degrees, outside and our house may be warmer during the afternoon.

I am a business owner in San Antonio, TX, and I feel blessed to be a transplant of this great city. I grew up on both coasts and never foresaw my life in Texas, and now I can't imagine living anywhere else. I travel for work, but I make time to explore new places. I love to travel all over the world and experience new things.

Our cottage is located in Mahncke Park. It is an urban neighborhood and park located just a few miles from downtown and the famous Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas, USA. The park connects the San Antonio Botanical Gardens to Brackenridge Park. The surrounding neighborhood was built around Mahncke Park. We are in walking distance to the San Antonio Zoo, the Witte Museum and Brackenridge Park's train.
We are less than 5 miles from the Pearl Brewery District (a popular art deco area with restaurants, bars, and farmer's market days on the Riverwalk) and downtown San Antonio. The Alamo, the Famous Riverwalk, and the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center are less than 5 miles from the house. You can even rent bikes at one of the city bike-share kiosks, B Cycle Stations, next to the Witte Museum and ride down to the Alamo. The Mission Bike Trails are another fabulous way to see the history of San Antonio. Our city has recently added electric scooters as another rental transportation method. You can find scooters around our neighborhood easily. Check out the BIRD and LIME scooter apps.
Central Market grocery store is less than half a mile from the house and it has fabulous fresh produce, bakery, wine selection, and gelato. Worth a trip just to walk through and enjoy!
