I am a Mauritian by birth but lived in the nineties in the republic of South Africa where I worked as a process chemical engineer at the Impala Platinum refinery in Johannesburg, Gauteng,
South Africa. Got married there and fathered two children a girl and a boy. This goes without saying that its a vivid and life experience born out of moments of true despair and frustration whilst holidaying solo in Montreux ,Switzerland where it is non existent and if not staying in hotels.
It was a real headache and nightmare to look for, sit and wait for hours for shops to open for any coffee or tea and thats too with limited choice of any breakfast availablity ,relying on muffins and cakes bought overnight or rely on bread and cold drink in the early hours for breakfast often sitting disgruntled overlooking the lac léman.
Supermarket in general or any breakfast shops if any opens only after 9am in Mauritius and here is a win win situation for you in mind unless you have a car to go and look around for any on offer.
